Well, I have to laugh at them then. (even though I am a cow/hermit)
But anyways, It doesn't matter what cows or what Sony thought PS3 would do. I don't consider biased opinions when I make these kinds of predictions, I look at the facts, the games, past sales history, and things like that.

i still think the price is going to be a problem.
So do I. It's the main reason why I think PS3 won't sell as well as PS2.
I'm thinking it will sell 80 Million, over the course of 10 years or so.
If you think about it, that's around HALF of PS2s sales rate.
I think it's a VERY good thing that this gen will be more evenly spread. More competetion=more amazingly good games for me :D
I think in the short run (the regular 5 year cycle), Wii will win by a LONGSHOT. PS3 and 360 will be neck and neck. But PS3 will have a big advantage, because it will last another 5 YEARS or so simply because of how expensive it is.
Although price will hurt PS3 alot, PS3s long term appeal will eventually make it the overall winner, this gen will not be the near monopoly it was last gen though. Which is good.
Here's how I see it.
Wii: 60 Million sold over the course of 5 years.
Xbox 360: 50 Million sold over the course of 7 years.
PS3: 80 Million sold over the course of 10 + years.
