You get what you pay for. The multi-week PSN outage where subscriber's personal information was stolen proves that. Personally I like the X360 S over the PS3 Slim cause I like the strong level of competition XBL offers, the faster downloads on XBL, the X360 controller, Gears of War, Halo and all that good stuffPS3 has free online. It winz.

Ps3 slim=ports and abilities removed and not really better build quality.
360 slim=ports and abilities added in, and a impressive build quality increase.
So yeah 360 wins that..
I have a 360 slim. the first one didnt work, right out of the box. had to send it back to get another one. the second one works fine....... except when it got knocked over once and destroyed my brother's "fable 3" disk. it still has both the giant problems of the original and it isnt even that much smaller. it is a bit quieter though.
the PS3 slim is much less bulky then the original. it has less problems with heat. it has zero noise, the buttons are better and more responsive than the original's "touch" buttons. I havent heard of any problems with the PS3 slims failing due to technical issues.
how can there be an arguement? going strickly by the quality of the hardware performance and improvements to the original model, the slim wins in a landslide.

So you agree that multiplayer should be free, even though MS forces you to pay for it. Only fanboys use that line.PS3 has free online. It winz.
