No Halo game or GeOW or bioshock can bring down the Playstation brand! PS2 is selling better than the 360 and the ps3 is coming out with great stuff. Home will be huge in the spring and MGS4 along with the FF games. Sony WILL WIN. they can't lose, they never have. JUST WAIT AND SEE.
Nobody immediately predicted it would fail before it launched, and I believe it can do good. However, for sony to really be a large contender in the console wars it needs to lower the price, secure more 3rd party exclusives which are good (unlike Lair which only looks good but plays horribly in my opinion) and offer something that only the Playstation brand can offer to players.

thats not true the 360 got the best online ever the wii got good web broswer and the ps3 has everything eles sike naw im jokin but every console has its ups and downs dont say the ps3 is perfect
Ihe PS3 has been getting more and more third party developers and some are not looking to develope muti-plats. A good example of this is the GTA4 that got delayed but then the developers are now developeing GTA5 for the PS3 and there is no hint of it being developed for the 360 so far. This is happening with other developers as well because Sony is working with them instead of trying to control them like M$ does.

I believe what I see happening in the real world, not the prophetic ramblings of analysist sipping their Grande Ultra Mocha Caramel Double Express Low-Fat Lattes.
Personally im into the xbox 360 a lot more than PS3 BUT...my prediction is that once MS comes out with 34897437547890543789054378943 more games...PS3 in about 2 years or so will have more exclusive making them a lil more of a threat but still not in first. They may take the lead for a bit but im still not sure if they will own the race in the end. The way the wii is going i could care less. Its a cool concept and yes i have one but if metroid hadnt come out it would have continued to collect dust like before...good, awesome TRUE GAMER games have too much of a gap in between each release date. Thrid party developers are good to have but overall true gamers dont care. I love the VC though. That much is true.

So far its been: Wait until Motorstorm, Wait until VF5, Wait until Home (delayed) Wait until Lair, Wait until Heavenly Sword, Wait until Warhawkm.... and a price cut thrown in as well
