Big V.I.P. from the 360 team said that the 360 would have 320+ games this year. Seems reasonable to me, you guys just want to jump on Sony.DaysAirlines
exactlly and almost all the games is multiplatform.so there shouldnt be a reason why there wouldnt be 200 games comin out for the ps3...there is only 5 xbox360 excluisve coming out this year..
The Europe launch has 40 games avaliable and it's only March (granted some were from last year). I wouldn't put it past them to have 200.nickmag
they have 40 over a 5 month span. on that pace it will have 80 games in august. and it would be just short of 120. im sure sony will pick up the pace but not enough for 200 games. i say 150-160 games tops.
sry guys it doesnt matter. yea they do need games out but 200?!? if they rush them out to say they have games then i will bet you anything most will be crap. they, as long as the rest of the people in the world, need to be patient and then we will see quality games. i hope 200 isnt true, make them less but better
If you count all games that are playable on the PS3 which means PS3 games, PS2 games that can be played on the system (not sure of the number), PS1 games that are being resold on the PSN, yeah that number can be reached. However if we are talking pure PS3 games then no way in hell will it be possible. Not with the reported difficulty of developing for the console.
The question is not how many games are going to be in the library by the end of 2007, but how many GOOD games are going to be in the library by the end of 2007.
It could happen I think the 360 had about 200 games in One year but not every game will be good sure they could have 200 but would you want to buy all of them or to make a question that means the same thing but easier to understand is "they could do that how many of those games are going to be good?"
i think they can, cause making games for the PS3 is getting more and more easier to do and more developers are using the PS3 to make multi-platform games. You already know that once Japanese Developers get used to it they'lll be released games every month. And count how many games for 360?? 75% are FPS... give me more games!
