Is it just me or does the ps3 have a much larger solid game library then the 360? I remember a few years ago when lemmings bashed the ps3 for not having games, trashtalking the ps3 whenever they had the chance, well karma is a **** Playstation 3 exclusives: - Uncharted drakes fortune -Uncharted 2 among thieves - Ratchet and clank tools of destruction -Ratchet and clank a crack in time - Heavy rain -Resistance 1 -Resistance 2 -Metal gear solid 4 -Little big planet -Killzone 2 -Demon souls -Valkyria chronicles -God of war 3 -Infamous These are some ps3 exclusives i consider awesome. Now lets take a look at what the 360 has to offer, some 360 "exclusives" can also be played on pc, so i dont really consider them exclusives, but ill list them anyway. 360: -Halo 3 -Halo Reach -Gears of war 1(pc aswell) -Gears of war 2 -Alan wake -Forza 3 -Mass effect 1(pc aswell) -Splinter cell conviction Its easy to see which platform has the best and most solid lineup. Now lets take a look at what is coming: Ps3: -Uncharted 3 ( gonna be announced soon, already said that they are working on it) -Gran turismo 5 - Little big planet 2 -Killzone 3 -Resistance 3 -Ratchet and clank all 4 one Infamous 2 -Final fantasy XIII versus -Socom Xbox 360: -Gears of war 3 -Halo 4?
The PS3 started off with a sucky library, whilst the 360 had a solid launch and further lineup. However it definately turned around in terms of exclusives.
But Halo > all PS3 exclusives BTW your missing Yazuka 3, ModNation Racers and MAG and coming soon Yazuka 3, The Agent (PC/PS3), FF14 (PC/PS3), DC Universe (PC/PS3).
I prefer ps3 exclusives to that of the 360, whether we're talking about "exclusives" or "games not on the other system."
I also prefer ps3 exclusives to the multitude of multplats that are on both, so I definitely prefer the ps3s library overall.
That being said, this is not a gen of "ownage" as past gens have been. Every system has been successful, so every system has a lot of games. In a lot of ways, this is probably the healthiest generation of consoles as far as competition goes, even if the companies are having a more difficult time standing out (other than Nintendo, they stand way out).

The thing most people fail to realise is that Sony and Xbox couldn't care less about how many games they have compared to the others, as long as the game they make actually do well... Xbox has no new exclusives because they are a miserable fail if it isn't FPS. MS said it themselves that they need more FPS, not for money, but for people to want to buy more games... Alan Wake is the classic example.. after that i think MS thought "Oh wait, xbox owners don't want games like this!".
No really i dont consider myself a fanboy, one of my favourite games are halo, not tried reach yet but heard it was awesome. But the ps3 library just superior to the 360 library.

It's not even close, unless you honestly think 1 AAAA is the equivalent of 64 A-AAA games. In that case, good riddance.

The probability of liking all games of a lineup of 250 and dont like any from a lineup of 310 would be very unlikelly. Especially considering both libraries share most of their games.
Having more quality games is an advantage obviously.

Eh, you don't have to play a game to know you won't like it. I know I don't like sports games, RTS games, or any turn based RPG, so I know I don't like the games in those categories.

Even with that in mind, a 63 game advantage is pretty sizable. And it's not like the genres on either system are super one-sided.

I have quite an extensive library and two different unlimited rental avenues (Blockbuster and gamefly)
Granted I just simply don't have the time to play most of them through all the way, I will tell you that most (not all)of the A-AA titles (on both) wasn't worth the effort of puting them into the console.

The Wii library is more diverse, innovative, and more fun than the HD console ones. 75 percent of the 360 and PS3 libraries are FPS and TPS. Wii games run across the board, just like the PS2. Wii still the best.

i dont even care about tha exclusives EXCEPT metal gear.......until my nba games is exclusive to a system, not sony nba, but live/elite or 2k.....i'm reppin xxxxxx boooooooox
I think MS exhausted their exclusives and didn't put enough work, PS3 was able to split resources between Move and great games but unfortunately it seem the 360 put all of their cards on the Kinect gamble, and it isn't looking too good for hardcore fans who want more fun games to enjoy that don't require flopping around with family members.
The Xbox will probably have some new games announced down the line after Kinect to even up their games list, but right now the 360 isn't the ideal choice for someone with a lot of cash to burn on a lot of new games.
