Well i'm posting this because i'm not sure which system to choose, PS3 or 360.

First the PS3 has amazing graphics and free online. They've got some good things going for them like Playstation Network and Sony Home. You can also play DVDs and Blu-ray. They also have alot of good games coming out. The only bad side is the cost. $400 is ALOT of money. Also the games cost $60.

Now for the 360. The 360 has alot of original games like Halo and Gears of War. Those are good games. The 360 can play music, watch dvds, and play games obviously. The graphics are also good, not as good as the PS3, for the system. Please help me decide people. Also I have a Wii right now and i regret getting it. Also i'm only going to be able to get one of these systems at the end of this year so please help me decide.

I think the biggest deciding factor would have to be which exclusives appeal to you more?

Other than that, are you willing to pay for online? Is reliability something you want? Do you want to have to keep on getting new batteries for your controller/buy a seperate peice of hardware that recharges? Do you want to have access to the leading format of High Def movies? Are you prepared to wait and get hit by delays for big titles? and does the idea of being able to create your own home and display your gaming achievements within it?

If so then go for the PS3

If you regret buying the Wii then you must have done something similiar to this to help you decide to buy it. Why cant you make a decision about one of these consoles on a website dedicated to giving you every fact there is to know about them. All you're going to get here is a bunch of jaded views from people trying to justify their own purchases. I have them all, I like them all, I like PS3 most but I bought it last. Do you know what games you like on either system?

You said 'end of the year'

I would have to say the Playstation 3.

The games cost exactly the same by the way, also Playstation Network is free and Home and In-game XMB should be here by the end of the year.

If you meant right now, I would've gone X360.

Hard to say which is better, I have both and am happy with that :P Now that my HD-DvD player purchase is a bust the Blu-Ray side of the PS3 is a huge bonus. At this point if it were me i'd say flip a coin :P You won't lose either way.

$400 is alot which is why PS3 is clearly the better choice.

With PS3 you get Bluray, wifi, and 20 more gigs +FREE online for EVERYONE in your house + more for the same cost as 360 + online for ONLY 1 year!

360 doesnt even have a real optical port so if you use HDMI for video you cant have 5.1 audio at the same time unless you pay for a $45 dongle or get a elite, + you need a charge kit for the controller compared to PS3.. 360 is add-on machine.

the 20 more gigs you get with a PS3 is a complete wash anyway since you have to install huge chunks to make many games work. I bought the 60 gig, I have 5 games and almost no downloaded content and i'm sitting on 30 gigs of space left.

the ps3 is a much safer bet then 360. 360 has the wrost hardware in gaming history. yes even worst then the ps2 disc read error. the ps3 fail rate is only .5% . On top of that microsoft trys to get every penny out of you. xbox live for 5 years is 250$ . you could buy a wii for that and thats just to play online. it uses peer to peer witch means they dont host the games you do. so why do we have to pay for it? you dont get anything for free with it .

ps3 you get so much more.linux ,blu ray , blue tooth( with any blue tooth head set ) , hdmi in every console , laptop hard dives of any size can be used with ps3 , wi fi , free online , keyboad and mouse support it even have a web browser .

look at which console have more games you like. You are buying a game console, the game library is by far the most important issue.

Do more research and find out for yourself. Find out which system has a selection of games that appeal more to you. If you can't do that, then don't buy a PS3 or a 360. You probably should not be asking this type of question in SW for reasons that I won't mention without being insulting.

depends on what you want, id role 360 but thats cause im really into online, and the online for 360 is the best by far, how ever if you arent playing much online, go with which one has the most games you wanna play.
