PS3 vs PC....really? Cmon, time for a reality check (56K GO AWAY)

you know what the difference between the PS3 and PC is while every PS3 is the same the PC isnt not every one has a high end PC so i can say JC2 looks better on PS3 and put some low qualty pics from PC. you cant say its not from PC cuz it is

No pictures to post but fully agreed. The PC is a better system and often times has the best of both worlds as far as games but sadly it is not a casual gaming system. They are too expensive to buy in store, unlike a $300 ps3, and most people won't spend the time researching and building a PC. Which for anyone out there is has wondered building a PC is not that difficult and is one of the better projects and purchases I have made. Back to the topic though, I really hope we will see a turn around in PC gaming because companies just don't focus enough on the most powerful and arguably easiest system to program for.

****So coming from someone who owns and plays both PS3 and PC, the PC is better but sadly does not have as large a community as a console that is an easier for the average person purchase.****

nah... just using a 360/PC gamepad on my PC... for some games it just feels better.... Just Cause 2 & Batman: AA for example.

I think this is hillarious. GOW3 stomps JC2 from a visual perspective. Is it on the same scale? No but its pushing far higher polys in each models better lighting and nicer textures. So yes I can fire up my PS3 and find better visuals then some crap console port that is Jc2 . If I want a good pc expereince ill fire up Crysis on my GTX285.

Thank you. Someone else who agrees with me. I honestly can't tell the difference between GOW3 to GOW2. It looks good until the actual gameplay. This isn't fanboy ranted because I absolutely love the GOW series, (I've even finished Chains Of Olympus), but GOW3 just doesn't impress me visually.

I've seen recent GoW3 vids... I don't want to watch any with spoilers thx... As I'm going to buy the game, play it, and enjoy it... but at the same time, not be in denial about whether it outperforms the PC in visuals or not.

i always get multiplats on the PC, you cant upgrade consoles so to make fair use what was available for the PC in 2006/7 whenever the ps3 came out or lets say build a PC for $300 from ground up. thats why fanboys should stop comparing PC to consoles its not the same and PC gamers should stop crysis pics if its xbox vs ps3 fanboys we all know it looks good but still i had more fun playing KZ2 then Crysis

lmao u got a point but the same thing could be said for pc. u can have the best one in the world but its useless with out a decent monitor and mouse and keyboard. and the tv is a better investment because you can get cable, plug in a few game consoles, watch movies, and hell even connect a pc to it.

actually you have it backwards

GOW3 even though you may be seeing a large titan or a large area the actual play area is very small. its akin to games of old which had a lot of crap in the backgrounds but its was simple sprites with animations. its moved a step foreward but even though it seems like it has a massive scale its a smoke and mirror trick. there is no massive scale.

however with JC2 the entire area is playable and active. theres no cells like in FC2 theres not just background areas like GOW3 or most games.

the actual playable and rendered scale darwfs pretty much every game out there right now
