Intel just developed an 80 Core Cpu, that only uses a few 100 whats of power and takes very little space.

What part of you thinks that a $800 peice of harware can outperform multimillion dollar hardware.

The real challange is putting the ps3 up again a modern day gaming computer in a real test.

They build software for this. The exact same graphics etc will run on both systems, and the software will track the frame rate and so forth. The same test that see what graphics card is more powerful, the modern Nvideo or ATI
