I don't want to start a war, and I'm definitely not trying to compare systems, but I want to point out something about almost every comparison video I have ever seen.

There is a setting on the PS3 called "RGB" and you can switch it to "full" or "limited."  Full expands the color range and makes the blacks darker, whereas the limited setting of course limits them for TVs that cannot handle it, so if you were to put that setting on your high dollar HDTV it would look very washed out.  The PS3 come with the setting "limited" as default.  I'm not sure why, but it does.

The Xbox 360 has this same setting, although it's called something else, and it comes set to "full" by default.  Every comparison video I have ever seen has had the PS3 setting on "limited" and of course the Xbox setting to "full" or whatever it's called.  Of course that is the default setting for both machines, but it's hardly fair.  So if someone says that the PS3 version looks "washed out," that's because it is set to be that way in the XMB.

This has already been brought out into the open on sites such as Gametrailers and been addressed months ago.

Yeah, I noticed that the PS3 version of the DMC 4 demo looked a little better than the 360 version after I set it to Full RGB, it just looked a little more vibrant and colourful.

It's to be expected from the bias system.

All i know is my PS3 is a great machine and it's the only one i have time playing with cause i already don'T play alot anymore.
I had to make a choice.

Fanboys don't miss out...They just made a choice!

I actually fell backwards out of my chair laughing.

You make a good point, CK. I actually go back through my video settings on both consoles after each update just to make sure that I have things set correctly.

The textures and aliasing is weaker though and the 360 runs at a higher resolution

Ok, when people say that the 360 have better graphics they are backed up by indisputable facts. Like the fact that DMC4 for 360 have full 2xAA and the Ps3 only have temporal AA. Or the fact that Bioshock 360 runs at 720p and Bioshock Ps3 runs at 680p... Not about what contrast or whatever setting looks better.

TBH I never see the comparison videos. I just play the games. Come on while your paying the game do you really think about the other console having better graphics? Unless its a very big difference or you are a fanboy then I doubt it.
