i love how everyone just says get this system cuz its better. Dont listen to them. It depend on you . . . Do you want a blu ray player? Do you want free online gaming or 50$ a year gaming with more features. Do you want sony games or ms games? Do you want an hd-dvd player. Do yoou like halo. mgs, final fantasy, gran turismo, bioshock, viva pinata, gears of war, god of war, socom? you have to make the decision. All your going to get here is a bunch of angry lemmings.

Yeah, I also vote for "Xbox360 now, PS3 later", because I couldn't really wait any longer to do "next-gen" gaming so I bought the Xbox360 (as I couldn't afford to buy a £1750+ next-gen-ready PC system). In my own opinion, I believe that the console war is more economical (thus political), i.e. serious, than anyone can imagine. I do trust the GameSpot team to be very fair and as neutral as possible when they review games and the likes, but I can clearly see a bias towards Xbox360 almost everywhere I go. I believe that this is partially because GameSpot is mainly American, and they're not going to start helping the Japanese Sony win an economical war over the American Microsoft. No matter what you do and how neutral you can strive to be, you can't really get yourself to hurt your own homeland in an economical way. With that said, it is clear to anyone who researches that PS3 (I fell in love with it even more after knowing that it will support keyboard & mouse for FPS gaming) is far superior to Xbox360. Yes, PS3 is more expensive, but after researching, I found that the price tag was justified, at least when compared to Xbox360's price tag.
Get the 360 now.360 currently have the best games, more games, better graphics and is cheaper. If things start to improve on the ps3 front in the future, get it after a price drop or two.
Depend, if you are a person who goes mostly for exclusives then PS3 is your best bet. Otherwise you can always buy a 360. Or buy any and eventually buy both. ;p
Unless you really like faulty hardware and overhyped games don't go 360. My little brothers have a PS3 and it has very cool games and the exclusives are better IMO. I personally game on PC though, so that's the best choice :P
