PS3 will be the WORST selling console this 2007 Holiday Season.

A LOT of COWs were just waiting for the MGS4 and GTA to be released this season. Both got pushed to 2008.

Mass Effect in November AND Assassin's Creed will sway a LOT of people towards the 360 plus the Halo 3 and Bioshock also help.

The Wii will continue to sell. I have yet to see a Wii in a Retail Store, and that is AMAZING!!!

What does the PS3 have, besides a bunch of flops?

As for its "future proofing" and it supposedly lasting 11 years, get real.. 11 years from now cell phones will be close to the PS3 for graphics. PS4 will be out within 6 years.

The only problem is that the PS3 hasn't done as well "out of the gate" as the PS2 did, plus the Wii is taking a clear lead. That could seriously affect the PS3's life-span. The PS2 endured because of its success, and that success was outright.

don't know yet...could be. both platforms will have GTA4 and RE5, so that's good. we'll see. i thought the argument was about sony having no AAA holiday releases (granted, heavenly sword has yet to be reviewed).

The PS3 will probably get a bump in sales for the holiday, but that's because junior can't shut the crap up, and mommy and daddy will be pulling hair and end up getting it for him. Then he'll just whine because there's nothing to play. So they'll be forced to buy him a game that he is too young to play.

Sony wins twice. Sadly.
