The PS3 cant reach what the ps2 did simply because theres the wii which already has all the casuals . so dont expect anything in 2008 or 2009 for that matter. oh and Final Fantasy 13 wont sale as good as Dragonquest 9 on the DS. That is all.

Fanboy or not, any sane person should know that PS3 sales will be much better in 2008 than 2007. I'm not sure how much, but it should be a significant boost.
So the Japanese gamers won't buy a next gen Final Fantasy game and buy Dragon Quest on DS instead? I think both will sell like hotcakes man.

We will see the PS3 start gaining some major ground soon. And the PS2 didn't sell all those consoles in the first few years, it took a few years to reach the millions of sold units and it's still selling fairly well even now.

The Ps3 is almost at 7 million sales in its first year, thats with 2 other competitors, a very high price tag and none of thier biggest games are out. You really think that sales will go down when their most popular games come out LMAO!
What I still fail to understand is how people can call the PS3 a failure when it is on par with what the 360 sold in it's first year. The console still doesn't have a killer exclusive, has been plagued by it's price point and had a miserable launch yet it is still selling well despite all of it's shortcomings. How do you know it will still be slacking? ..........Oh wait a second you compared Final Fantasy to Dragon Quest for DS you've now lost all credibility in my eyes.
