PS3: you can use your monitor as a HDTV to play your PS3

If you own a widescreen monitor, you can buy a cable like this:

and play your PS3 on your monitor! all that is required of your monitor is DVI and HDCP.

Most widescreen monitors have both DVI and HDCP. If you don't know if your monitor have HDCP or not, just do a google of your monitor's model number or check out the manufacter's website.

lack of knowledge? i simply forgot that xbox did make a vga cable. so what if i did forgot about the vga cable. my whole post is about hdmi to dvi, i didn't say xbox 360 can't use monitor, i just said it can't use hdmi to dvi connection that i was talking about in my post. anyways who cares.jhch49
