PS3/GTA IV bundle coming to europe april 29th

Gaming Only got word from reliable sources about a Grand Theft Auto IV/PS3 Bundle. The bundle should be released on April 29th and contains a PS3 40Gb and GTA IV. The bundle will cost you €429,99.

And Microsoft only promised 100 exclusive 360s with a skin. They might have to release a bundle soon if they want to get that GTA momentum. If a casual goes in for a HD console and sees a console bundled with GTA 4 he might jump for it as it'll be easier :|

Yep and smells of desperation on Sonys part. Why would you bundle the 2 most popular games as a bundle unless you are desperate to sell consoles? I'm sure the cows will just say Sony is just trying to please the people.

infact this desperation is going for sonys favour... these games ( MGS4, GTA IV) are system sellers so why not benefiting from making a bundle? marketing strategies...

Microsoft will need to make sure people know GTAIV is on their system or they're screwed. They failed horribly at letting people know Pro Evo was on the 'box.Ninja-Hippo

There hasn't been any marketing on on the DLC, and we're not that far from GTAIV now :|

thats why theres a DMC4 bundle in japan and it hit 1 million units (2 million if you count the 360 version), but by your logic thats not possible...or how about motorstorm?...and how can a game not be seeling well then be bundled with the system....if every single bundle has come out exactly the same time as the game...with exception with motorstorm

or how bout GT5:P the preorders sold out but theres a bundle out in europe...again something that couldnt happen with your logic

If a casual is going for a 360, they will most likely go for the pro. Add $50 with Live, and you've got the price of a PS3. PERIOD.

You do know that everything cost more in Europe dont you? You cant just convert the Euro rate to USD and then say it is to much in USD for a Euro market.

You do know that everything cost more in Europe dont you? You cant just convert the Euro rate to USD and then say it is to much in USD for a Euro market.

my point was that the bundle is too expensive, they will look around a little and notice that they can get the same thing for cheaper (360, with GTA)

True as in America the X-box is cheaper than the PS3. If you only wanted a GTA4 then X-box is the best option. However I suspect many people will not just want GTA4 and the more known titles are defiantly coming PS3 way in the years to come.
