You can't say that 'mod tools' are a genre. And even if you did, the PS3 wouldn't have the first or the best, as the superior GarrysMod has been out for ages.

LBP has more then just modded tools. YOu create your own game within a game. You dont mod you createFoliage-King

That's still nothing new. People create new gametypes with modding tools all the time - I've seen zombie survival games, racing games, tetris, etc all made within or around Garrysmod.

Heck, some famous mods become extremely popular games in their own rights, like Counter-Strike, Team Fortress and DOTA.

Yeah, I know.

It was never meant for full-on map editing though, more like weapon and object editing.

Mainly, it was for scenarios where fans can edit weapon spawn, and hallway placement to their choosing.

However, the community responded by making custom maps, so Bungie tried to add a few things to it, but it was gimped from the outset, as map editing was not what it was meant for.

Can't wait to see what they have done with forge for Reach though (They may show something tomorrow, to be precise)

you had the right idea but presented it the wrong way..... you shouldn't really use the word "Best"....you should just say "One of the Best" or "Top games".....even if you feel they are the best......I agree with most of your list though.

Click and Move? If you mean adventure, then there are a huge number of fantastic adventure games on PC. That's a crazy genre to go up against the PC in :P

In terms of everything else, some I can agree with, most I definately disagree with (such as the FPS).

It's my favorite RPG and probably just generally my favorite game this gen... Buuuut that might change the second I'm done with Mass Effect 2. Many would argue that ME2 is better, and even that the first is better.

You mean point and click? It doesn't fit in that genre at all, it's a cinematic game closer to a movie than a game. It's good, maybe best of genre, but there's nothing to compete. The actual best point and click is Machinarium or if remakes count Monkey Island 2 LeChuck's Revenge Special Edition.

FPS- killzone 2 - Just no, there are far too many FPS's around to give it to Killzone 2, from Half Life to Battlefield, Killzone 2 is easily beaten
