I'll try and get to the point quickly: Try and read all of this before making a comment.
PS3's supposedly lost plenty of exclusives but if people actually take a look at the line-up you'll realize that PS3 is still getting most, if not all of the major series that were huge from last gen and that's the main reason it will win this gen I believe.
OK, so it has lost GTAIV as a timed exclusive, UT3, Assassin's Creed, Fatal Inertia and Bladestorm (I don't think it's lost anymore but I'll edit them in if someone can correct me).
360 on the other hand has also lost many exclusives. NG is no longer an Xbox exclusive, Saint's Row is coming to PS3, the GRAW and Rainbow Six series are now coming to PS3 (Don't say these don't count because of Ubisoft, since AC is also a Ubi title), and of course, Oblivion.
I mean, some make it sound as if PS3 has nothing at all but that is not the case. The major series of last gen that made the PS2 successful (exclusive or not): GTA, Madden, MGS, FF, GT. All those series are going to PS3.
So, what do you guys think? Any opinions are great but try not to be fanboyish.

True GRAW was on every platform and R6 was on PC too and it was announced to come to PS3 since hte beggining. GRAW didn;t come then b/c there wasn't no PS3 and cows lost that title. Now we all ahve Graw 2.
They obviously haven't lost all their exclusives, but: NG Sigma is basically an updated original xbox game, GRAW (as far as I know) has been delayed on the PS3, Saints Row is coming out much later, and Oblivion is coming out a year later. Compare this with GTAIV, Assassin's Creed, UT3, etc. and you can understand how some would perceive this as a small victory for the 360.

That was my point with the thread basically...I'm not saying 360's lineup sucks or anything, I'm just saying that PS3's exclusivity problems are exaggerated on SW for some reason and it's unfair since 360 does not get the same treatment.

What do you mean? How's that different from GRAW or R6. Ubi never said they were going to PS3 until they announced it so people should have thought of it as exclusive.
yep both are losing exclusivity. but so far ps3 is getting these things because its still riding on the success wave of ps2. of course developers will port to the successor to the most successful console ever. but if ps3 remains a flop, that will change. same cant really be said about microsoft because they seem to have every angle covered. what im saying is that 360 has made sure that it will always have a piece of the cake, but that ps3 might very well lose their share. best/worst case scenario, most games will be multiplat and wii will have the exclusives.
Ninja gaiden remake, R6, GRAW and saints row... No one cares they go multi (good for cows, lemmings dont care). GTA4, Assassins creed and UT3... NOW THOSE HURT! just admit it.

Well technically GTA's never been exclusive, although I do admit it'd be better for Sony of course if it were a timed exclusive.
UT3 was on PC. Best on PC.
Assassin's Creed is Ubi and I think we all knew it would go multiplat but we're just using it as ownage against cows because it was announced for PS3 first.

Well, this place is mostly 360 fanboys, but I also don't take this place too seriously. I have a feeling if you talked to most people who post on this board in person they'd admit both 360 and PS3 have great lineups for 2007. I wish I had the money to afford both consoles, but I don't, so the 360 (and Wii) will do just fine for now and when I can afford a PS3 I'll buy one as well.

Exclusives mean nothing to me, only good games. If PS3 had no exclusives but had the best version of 360, PC, and Wii games what system do you think I'd buy? Hypothetically question.

the Xbox 360 is also losing GeOW to the PC in the future. its been more or less confirmed by Mr. Rein over at epic; And to me, even if the PC technically isnt a "console", if i can play it on moree than one platform, it isnt exclusive.
