PS3 will do fine, but it won't win the console war in terms of sales.

I agree. I think the PS3 will make its mark this gen, but wont be top dog. We will still see good games and a more unique experience once sony rolls out all their big plans. I think the best part is, this gen humbled sony. That hopefully has taught them an important lesson and make them take better choices when they begin the next generation.
I personally think PS3 will surpass X360 this year in worldwide sales. X360 actually sold less systems last year when compared to it's first year which has to be scary if you are an X360 fan. With Blu-ray winning, better games graphically, better 2008 lineup, better hardware, I don't see any reason for PS3 not to dominate.
