PS3's holiday lineup cant comapre to 360's.

In the holiday season of november and december, PS3 has Resistence 2, and Motorstorm. 360 will have Gears 2, Fable 2, Banjo: NAB, and the timed exclusivity of Last Remnant.

4 hyped 360 games over PS3's 2, its safe to say that 360 won this holiday battle before it even started.

I don't get why people say 08 is PS3's year. ******In the bussiest time of the year (holidays), PS3 offers 1/2 the exclusives as MS will.******* Also, it can be argued that Gears 2 and Fable 2 each have more hype and sales potential then RFOM 2 and Motorstorm 2 have as well.

I will take LittleBigPlanet and WipEout HD over any other two games released this year, and I am not a cow.

You cannot make statements about preferences like they are facts. Some will prefer those games you listed for PS3. Some will prefer the 360 games. Some will prefer the Wii's, and some will prefer PC titles.

And then there are those like me who are looking forward to games not on your list.

Amazon has Final Fantasy 13 listed for December 13th so until official news says otherwise, you have to include it. As other people have said, you also "forgot" Little Big Planet. This is just one big epic fail.

edit: LBP comes out in october...it's close enough. Stop trying to skew things in your favor

Yes, 360 atm will have more potential than PS3 at Holiday time, but let's wait till E3, which is when allot of things will be revealed to assume this revelation...

Also, if you want to just go ahead and make pre-judgements Sony has 09' on lockdown....it's funny while Microsoft is always thinking of the now Sony is always thinking of the future...

to be fair, PS3 mostly has 09 on lockdown because some of the big 08 titles were delayed :P

it usually means that......given that all the games have the potential to score at least AA.

This holiday season, I will probably land more multiplats than exclusive games for the PS3.

If FF 13, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, LBP hit their release dates, I will pick them up.

Mostly I am looking foward to Fallout 3, Force Unleashed, Quantum of Solace, Mercenaries 2.

We just have to wait and see what will be available first.

Who says any of those 3 games are either, for one Fable 2's date is set for fall, which could mean September or October, Banjo 3 might not get released this year, even Gears 2 could get delayed for all we know...

I like how when a huge 360 game is released all the lemmings say the PS3 is done for, but when a PS3 game that gets a 10 is released the lemmings start saying that one game doesn't mean anything.

u must be kidding right?? ill give you uncharted was one of the best games but ut3 absolutely is terrible. and btw, halo 3 sold a lot of copies during the holidays as well so u can not forget that. mass effect did come out during the holidays, but halo 3 was wayyyyy more played!!
