They had 6 slim at my Best Buy Tuesday. I asked the guy there when they got some and he said these came in Friday. I suppose time will tell.

Wow we're using vgchartz as a source for hardware sales now? I thought we decided to disregard anything from them before NPD results came out.

Over the last few months or so Sony has been ceasing production of the phat PS3s. Now they are considerably less in stores. I have yet to see one that is not the Uncharted Bundle around here.

Now the Slims are slowly coming into stores, with America getting the first batch. So far PS3's sales increased there. In Japan it has decreased which is due to the declining stock of the phat PS3s. Now the Slims just got in today.

No one knows what is happening in Europe at this moment. Basically the PS3 Slim had a "Week Zero" launch. Some places got them, some didnt, Phatties are phased out.

I say wait a week or two to see what goes on.

I bought an elite the other day.... And they had alot too. So what. No ones gonna start buying them quite yet. Even still, I dont know if you guys are gonna see PS3 sell much better than the other 2. It will be interesting to see though.

In my area, 2 wallmarts, 3 eb games, a gamestop, a future shop and a few other places are all sold out of PS3's. Slim and fat. I went out looking to try and get a better look at the slim in person. Nowhere has anything.

Price cut was announced back on Aug 18th. That's 2 weeks ago actually. The PS3 Slims didn't hit retail until the 24th I believe.
