I think almost everybody will agree that a BR player is better than any secondary feature the 360 has.
What about a DVD player?I think almost everybody will agree that a BR player is better than any secondary feature the 360 has.

Depends. I prefer the Blu-Ray to somethings, but the 360 is better at streaming things from my PC, and I still get use from the HD-DVD, so to me, it would be a toss up between the two, TBH.I think almost everybody will agree that a BR player is better than any secondary feature the 360 has.

Really? I always found the PS3 beater at streaming content from my PC. The only problem I ever found was that some of my video files were a type not supported by the PS3,but I think I had that same problem with the 360.Not to mention RemotePlay,I think the PS3 has the best streaming abilities.

For some reason, most of my files won't play on PS3, but play fine on 360. I dunno why, they are supposed to be supported formats, but since one does it, it does not bother me too much.Depends. I could never get media sharing to work through my router on Ps3. And unfortunately Windows media center is super slow on 360.
So I just hooked my computer to my 37" screen and eliminated the issue :P
Maybe its my router. If thats the case, too bad. My router and setup > streaming stuff to the PS3.I could never get media sharing to work through my router on Ps3. And unfortunately Windows media center is super slow on 360.

And nothing really requires 50gb of space. Blu ray is just a superflous gadget that might become useful in the future
Blu ray burners. They make them.
And I am not sure if you are refering to pirating movies with this sort of thing. But I will stay on the right side of the TOU here and just say that Hd content is available.

I don't think anyone will argue that 30 dollars is a good price point. It is like saying 60 dollars is perfect for any game.
However, most blu rays I have bought I have gotten from amazon for no more than 15 dollars. Which is less than a new DVD release in some places.
Well i used to own a PS3 before i traded it for an X360. Personally, In my opinion the 360 is far superior to the PS3 in terms of secondary features. Allow me to list what 360 secondary features i like.
1. Ingame Music
2. Stream HD Media from my Mac to my 360
3. Ingame Communication
4. Far Superior Onine Service.
5. Netflix - HELLZ YEAH!
Personally, I want my console not only to play games but to be a media center aswell. And the X360 Allows me to do that. It was FAR easier for me to setup a media center using connect360 than it was for me to setup a media center on a PS3. Just to say I am a hardcore gamer i just enjoy having access to ALL my media from one place as opposed to having music on an iPod dock, Games on a x360 and videos on a laptop.
