PS4 gets another AA exclusive

MLB The Show 16 just got an 8 on GS.

Another great exclusive for the PS4 lineup. When do you think the next X1 exclusive that lives up to the hype will be? It hasn't had one in awhile.

But the online is totally broken. Is that why they waited on the review?

It's an 85 on Metacritic. PlayStation is heating up while Xbox is flopping.

Online works for me. I've had it for a week and been playing a lot of DD Conquest. I lost connection one time for about 20 minutes.

LOL it wont matter. They'll just shut down the online in a year and release 2017. For those that like baseball sims enjoy. Last one I ever played was on PSP.

The Show is the best baseball game and the best baseball franchise. It just sucks for whatever reason, Sony can't keep the online servers up for more than a year. I believe their last The Show game, shut down the servers and it wasn't even out for an entire year. Imagine if a shooter with multiplayer servers shut down before the year ends, what makes a baseball game any different. This just exposes how PSN is still way behind and not reliable.

Anything to get people to buy next year's rehash.

Wow, 2016 is shaping up to be more of a disaster for lems than 2015 was.

The lems can't catch a break meanwhile PS4 is on a roll as with the exclusives, and very soon the mother of all exclusives (Uncharted 4) will be on the scene slaying everything in it's path #SDC.

No surprise. MLB The Show is pretty consistent in quality. I can't say baseball games (or any sports games) have ever interested me, but my roommate loves them.

Anyone know the difference between the PS3 and PS4 versions?

Because some people were claiming Forza Horizon 2 as Xbox One exclusive because the One version had more content.

The PlayStation 3 version has some of the graphical features cut back.

It's not just that the Xbox One version of FH2 had more content, it was just a different game, same idea and map but a very different approach.

The Xbox One and 360 versions were independently built by two different developers, Playground Games (XBO) and Sumo Digital (360).

They feature different vehicles (Xbox One has far more), drastically different world restrictions and map design (the game world in the 360 version is not 'open' and the events are restricted tracks), different events, different graphics engines, different physics engines, different sound engines, different UI's, the Xbox One version has dynamic weather and physics based upon weather interaction, drivatars, expansions and DLC while the 360 version does not.

By all accounts the content is "significantly different", even the developers don't view them as the same game.

Forza games don't even chart in NA any more, but that hasn't stopped Microsoft from making them.

Yet lemmings constantly use Forza racing games as ammunition. At least with sports game you get updated rosters. What reason is there to buy Forza rehashes yearly? Some car re-skins?

Why are you trying to compare shallow athletic sports games to an arcade/racing sim? Also I don't know of any racing game thats online functionality is killed in a year.

P.S. Forza isn't "rehashed" yearly, Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon are two entirely different lines of games.

The Show is anything but shallow. Thanks for proving you know nothing about the franchise. It is just a much a sim of baseball as Forza is a sim of racing. Don't try to lump it together with trash like recent Madden football games.

Forza's online is killed in a year because no one buys it to begin with. When is the last time a Forza charted in the NPD?
