It's a very nice upgrade from last gen, for sure. Some day, I do plan to get a new GPU for my PC (it has HD 7870 now), especially since I just got new headphones which are really good. Once it gets to the point where the PS4 can't do some multi-plats justice at all, for example Crysis 3 PC vs PS3 from last gen (but I decided I didn't want the game anyway), I plan to get some multi-plats for PC in the future. For now, PS4 is right for me for all multi-plats. Dragon Age: Inquisition was the last one I played, which looked stunning and ran very well.

I was looking this up out of curiosity, too. How many games on PS4 actually run below 1080p? According to this list, it's AC: Unity, Battlefield 4, Hardline, Watch Dogs, and EA Sports UFC. I'm not sure how complete it is, though.

Well said. I have been at this since Pong. Graphics are nice and all, but even last gen we have gotten to a point where the characters and environments are great looking. Give me fun games to play at this point. I know the graphics will be good. Art styles impress me more now than technical graphics.

Dying Light on PS4 is at "lower-than-low" PC settings...

They are pretty good... but nothing spectacular.

Both Xbox One and PS4 graphics are pretty good compared to last gen. But compared to PC they are already behind and if you are prepared to keep up graphics card wise it will only get worse.

With the recent price drops price/performance ratio is pretty good now.

Not really. Either of the twins will do fine until the next Elder Scrolls hits. Then I'm upgrading my PC to enjoy it and all 3rd party games at max settings and with mods.

No it's not, go change Dying Light to low settings and you'll see yourself, though i do think the lod is very low on the PS4 version a lot of the other settings are obviously higher than the low PC setting.

Pretty good compared to PS3 and 360 yes. But then that is to be expected.

I'm very satisfied with PS4's visuals. The upgrade from last gen consoles was everything i expected.

Yes. No car game looks better than Driveclub and no third person shooter looks better than The Order. And I only imagine Ratchet and Clank will set the standards for platforming graphics this generation. Then there's Uncharted 4 which will undoubtedly do some graphics technique better than anyone else has done it yet. Probably animations. What the PS4 doesn't excell at is draw distance and resolution. People, that's not 'graphics'.

Yes the PS4 does have games with good graphics, as does the Xbox One. Unfortunately it doesn't do good graphics and performance at the same time. It also doesn't do great graphics.
