PS4 graphics are pretty good - don't you agree?

All these consoles look good enough to me. We're at that point, even the WiiU delivers a clean enough image to be visually appealing. I buy all my multiplats on PC simply because I want the best bang for my buck, but games just look good in general these days. We're a far ways off from the shitty 2d graphics of gen 2, or the shitty 3d graphics of gen 5.

Well you ignored my last post about Driveclub which is clear now that you obviously read it, and you were speaking of gameplay videos rather than discussing actually playing.

On top of this you seem to be disconnected with the inner workings of Driveclub which again leads me to believe you don't own it and have never actually played it, you're quite ignorant to its functionality and differences between the actual gameplay and photo mode bullshots.

You don't seem very well informed about things you supposedly own/use...

It's already been proven in this very thread that photomode in DC doesn't only change the camera angle. Meaning I was factually right in my questioning and stance. Meaning you just made a fool out of yourself. Photomode is bullshots. Any image of these games in actual gameplay is noticeably inferior than photomode shots.

This is why cows never post shots with huds/gui. And when they do, it doesn't look as good.

You should find it and pick it up for cheap if you can, if you were able to mess with it yourself as an owner you would start seeing all of these problems.

Playing it before and getting a first impression and tearing into it from technical perspective as an owner are miles apart. You should back off and acquire this game before discussing it further.

Trying to argue with someone who has it while all you have are screenshots and YouTube videos isn't going to do you any favors and diminishes your arguments to essentially nothing.

I'm not just crucifying photomode in this thread, I'm crucifying the gfx of these games in general. PS4 is decent at best in graphics.

(P.S.: saved those screengrabs to use against AM-Gamer when he says something stupid like SS being anywhere near top graphics).

Infamous look bad either way. DC looks decent with photomode, but bad in actual gameplay. The Order looks bad whenever GUI/HUD is in the shot. Killzone isn't even worth mentioning anymore. My point: PS4 graphics aren't all that. Wait for next gen kiddo.

I assume you meant graphics, since the game scored poorly. The game isn't even as good as modded Skyrim. Forget Unity, GtaV, Witcher3 (PC).

basically, photomode is a way, to get gamers to market a game as being better looking then it is for free with no liability about lying. its pretty much a sham, I have no clue why anyone would use photomode in a game.

Infamous is a good looking game, it's nothing amazing but it looks quite nice. I would never suggest something as silly as it's the "open world king" or that it looks bad because it's neither of those.

But it's a nice looking game with neat looking effects. I also live in Seattle so that added to the experience a lot for me.

Sure. Of course I think all the consoles have pretty good graphics. I know it freaks the graphics whores around here out but there comes a point where most gamers are satisfied with graphics, which is why high end PC setups are largely relegated to throwing a little more eye candy on top of games designed for mid range systems and consoles. The number of games that require a beefy setup is tiny, because even on PC, most gamers are satisfied with mid range performance.

@Jankarcop: 8.0 is poor now? And GTA V and modded skyrim did you really just mention those two? Infamous SS dumps all over those so if Infamous looks like shit those other games must be unplayable. The photo mode doesn't add assets on either of those games so the massive differences you see that don't exist is hilarious.

Do PC games on ultra beat PS4 games? Yes, handily but it doesn't mean PS4 or even Xbox games look horrible by any means. Heck, I even think some WiiU games are visually appealing,

You clearly haven't played GTA V on PC... Also modded Skyrim can be one of the most astonishingly impressive looking games there is.

On top of this even the PC version of Watch_Dogs with the E3 fixes bests anything on the PS4, you need to take a step back dude.

To be fair it looks great to me as well but i am a console gamer so i am not used to the high Fidelity Visuals that PC gamers are accustomed.

And whether or not something looks great is a subjective opinion not an objective one, i am playing a game on Tablet called Deer god,it's a retro style pixel game but to me it looks amazing.

I completely agree with you though that Photo mode on games does NOT reflect how any game looks in motion and in my experience Assets are always upgraded to some degree when using Photo mode, whats the point otherwise.

You and i both know that Cows are talking Rubbish when they Claim there PS consoles can produce better visuals than gaming PC's, thats why i find it Ironic when they attack the Xbone for having a lower resolution, they make a huge deal about when but when someone mentions that the PC is capable of much higher resolutions it doesn't seem so important to them.

I am not stupid, i know if i want top end visuals i will have to fork out the Money to buy a specced up gaming rig and to me it's ludicrous that people would expect the same level of performance from a console as they would expect from even an 800 quid PC.

I am just happy with what i have got but i do understand with PC gamers that once you have experienced the best visuals you cannot go back and the Pigeons down below must seem pretty rubbish when you soar with the eagles.

@nyadc: GTA V on PC is still a super enhanced PS3 game. They don't have 120k polys in there character models. WD looks nowhere near as good as Infamous. That's utter BS.

Those screen shots might not be the best to show off image quality considering theres not much around them.....but to say they look like shit...solidifies that you just bullshit your way through these arguments.

1. I never stated GTA V was open world graphics king. Find a quote if you think I did. Although the PC version is really up there.
