PS4 or Xbox One: Which one first?

I know they're both meant completely for different kinds of people, but my mom told me that I can have either one for my birthday in March, so I'm looking at which one I should get first, which one has more exclusives, stuff like that. I have a Wii U, so I'm not going to need another one of those, but whatever I get, I'll get the other one for Christmas 2014.

In that situation I'd get the Xbox first just because Titanfall would keep me occupied a lot longer than Infamous will.

whichever has the games you want to play the most.

If you own a 7th gen console, ignore the bolded games as they're cross-gen.

I bought PS4 first as I was more interested in Killzone, Knack, Drive Club and Resogun. I will have a XBOX ONE by mid January or so. I still want to play Ryse and eventually Titanfall. PS4 will be my main console for all multiplats and its exclusives. The X1 will be my secondary strictly for the exclusives it has!

Man, that Max : The Curse of Brotherhood is a surprise hit for me. I can't stop playing...It's something different than all the same stuff that's out there. Great platformer and well worth the $15 IMO.

And Planetside 2, Warframe, DC Universe, Don't Starve, Octodad, Basement Crawl and Yakuza Ishin. Thanks for the memory jog, look at everything I forgot.

Find out what most of your friends either have and/or want and get that system. I wouldn't get any console right now just for one or two exclusives. I'd wait until the price drops for that. Other than that you can't go wrong with either choice.

PS4. Cheaper, larger catalog, more exclusives for the first 1-2 years.

X1 once its price gets slashed, revises its XBL sub program, and proves it will generate exclusive content worth owning the system for.

If u own a PS4 there will be very little reason to own an Xbone outside of a couple excusives. U get the best combination of 1st and 3rd party games on the most powerful console of all time at $100 less.

The PS4 currently has twice as many games announced for it and thats with Sony holding back on the majority of their announcements.

I'm not buying an X1 at 500 bucks, no fucking way. So until MS comes to their senses, I'll start with a PS4, but that ain't happening until I see some games I like and not the shit that System Wars always seems to hype up.

I'd say PS4. But I personally wouldn't want to own both. They'll mostly have the same games. It would just be a waste of space imo.

I got the PS4 first. For me...my friends that bought last gen consoles were split between the two. 2 bought the PS4 and 2 bought the XB1. Just from talking to them it looks like my friends that bought the XB1 seemed to not be impressed yet. According to them XBL isn't as good as it was on 360 and they said the console just seems rushed (both of them are xbox fanatics). My friends and I with a PS4 have been impressed so far.

But it really just comes down to the games. Titanfall and Killer Instinct are the only reason I would consider buying an XB1 currently, but other than that, PS4 all the way. Cheaper, hardware is better, games announced are greater than XB1 and from what I've read PS4 is also very easy to develop games on. Also the fact that XB1 can't run COD:Ghosts at 1080p 60fps is a bad sign imo...COD really isn't known for pushing graphical limits...

i choose x1. Line up fits my taste far more specially right now that i am in love with dead rising 3

I'm more suited to Xbox One I like the games for this system.
