And we also know who has the more fanatical base thats more likely to preorder. Just saying.

And thats USA. I expect the gap to be much wider in civilization.

Those are US numbers and SONY is outpacing the X1 3:2... in perspective for those that don't like math that approximately equates to 66.6= 67 to 99.9= 100

so about 67 X1's preordered for every 100 PS4's pre-ordered in the US. It is good to see that there are other people in this country that won't stand for that crap.

I would LOVE to see world numbers and total numbers.

Oh, and I went to the midnight release of The Last of Us last night. I talked to the manager and he told me due to production shortages most Gamestops in my area and most of the state will be limited to 10 Xbox One pre-orders, while they have been given the green ligh to have 56 PS4 pre-orders. Only 8 of the 56 have not been reserved while 8 of the 10 X1's have not been reserved. So, I know it is just ONE location. but it stands at 2 X1 pre-orders and 48 PS4 pre-orders. He also said he is pushing to get a higher number of PS4's to sell as pre-order, and is supposed to get an answer today.

I was unaware that production problems were such a big problem for the X1.... It seems as though they aretrying to jump the gun. They should slow things down a bit, or they are likely to have similar problems like the RROD.

Really on US when the PS3 doesn't ousell the xbox 360 for years.? MS is already losing its biggest market,if you factor in EU and Japan the xbox one is in line for a beating..

The ONLY people pre-ordering right now are the people who are pretty hardcore gamers who likely follow the industry pretty close. This is a good show of just how many die hard Xbox fanboys jumped ship. Total sales nearing the end of this console generation were almost identical, lets just say 140 million PS3's and 360's sold at 70 million each equals 50% SONY 50% Microsoft

now with that same 140 million if you take these numbers into consideration with a 3:2 ratio it would look like this.

SONY PS4 60% = 84 million compared to Microsoft Xbox One 40% = 56 million

84/56 = 1.5 3:2 ratio = 1.5 to 1

I know this is just crunching some numbers, however.... it proves people wrong that do not think a 3:2 eatio is a big deal IF that is the way tings play out in the end. Also, you need to take into account that the US will undoubtedly be Microsofts largest market.

That means that these numbers suggest that SONY has taken back 20% of the install base from Microsoft in the US alone... A 20% increase in market share isn't major in your biggest market? I am glad I don't have some of you working for me...

*edit* No these are not my predictions... as I pointed out though, a 3:2 ratio is a lot larger than some people seem to realize. Just putting it into perspective.

Sales of consoles influence developers and 3rd parties why do you think so many games did not make it to the xbox,and how ms all of a sudden got 3rd party support,whilke nintendo horrible sales had keep developers at a distance.

The PS4 will outsell the xbox one this holiday how badly who knows and that will weight in on developers and 3rd parties,oh and i did not even bring sony own games into the picture..
