PS4 + PC looks to be the best combo for next gen

PC gives you the superior experience in all multiplats that are released on PC, notably titles like BF4, Watch Dogs, and The Division 

PS4 gives you great exclusives like 1886, RIME, Killzone, and Deep Down, along with console exlcusive titles like Madden. 

Right now, the only killer app the X1 has is Titanfall, which any person going with the PS4/PC combo will have access to, and a better version to boot. 

So the PS4 + PC is handsdown the best combination gamers can use this upcoming gen. Fact.

Ill be adding that as well. Think I'll pick it up during tax season...which should be just in time for the Wii U to start coming into it's own. X does look awesome.

I still need to grab mine. I would entirely, pick one up, just for X :P  I'll likely end up with the PS4 first, though.

PS4 will do nicely as a replacement for my PS3 as the Netflix/Hulu/Bluray box.

Owning every console is the best combination every gen.

Without a doubt, or if you're more particular to Nintendo 1st party/published items, a Wii U would suffice in PS4's place.  I'm with TC though. 

PC for PC exlcusives like DOTA2, Rome II, Gone Home, Might&Magic X, Star Citizen, etc, etc, and for ALL multi-plats.

MGS and GTA are multi-plats now, console shooters like KillZone never really interested me (game looks quite good tho, appart from the "CoDy" gameplay mechanics), Knack looks like an un-interesting 3D platformer, I don't care for Infamous, The Order 1886 hasn't shown any gameplay yet, Drive Club looks okay but I'd rather see a next-gen Gran Turismo instead, Deep Down is okay but doesn't amaze me.

Of course I'm speaking from my perspective.

I already lost a lot of interest for consoles and moved more towards "hermitism".

For me it really is. Got my PC for multiplats and the PS4 then will be for those badass Sony exclusives.

I support MS so PC and Xbox for me.

If you really like all the games from every system then sure. If you buy just for the sake of having everything then it's a bit of a wasteful expenditure

Ideally it would be. Financially, not so much.

Personally, I could see the Wii U, 3DS, and PS4 keeping me occupied and covered for the gen. I'm sure if I added PC to the mix it'd be overkill and I'd end up with a backlog in which I could never recover...

Literally seen no gameplay of 1886 you can't just assume it'll be good, and i'm pretty sure Capcom said don't expect Deep Down, to be exclusive.

the only thing i want right now is dead rising 3. Its only on xbox. The only real factor I was considering before is that ps4 i thought would be free multiplayer, but it isn't so I'd rather just get an xbox. I know live is a fully integrated system that almost makes sense paying for it, psn charging just because they can? **** that

I dont know I think the Wii U and PC are the best combo to get right now then maybe in a year or 2 to get a PS4 then maybe even a Xbone

Oh I forgot maybe a 3DS would be good for the combo then maybe in a couple years if the Vita improves

Awesome GIF. While I don't agree that Nintendo has the BEST exlcusives, they do have several I'm interested. Your GIF summarizes my feelings towards that game pretty well. 

I'm also eagerily anticipting the spirtual successor to Eternal Darkness, Shadow of the Eternals. I've waited for a sequel for many years, and SotE is the closest we'll ever get.

Games like Killzone are definitely on par with current PC graphics. Of course, in 6 months or so, the PC will begin to pull ahead like it always does. Hermits denying that Killzone isn't PC quality, and Cows pretending that PC won't be blowing the PS3 out of the water very soon, are both equally dellusional. 

Which is why I'll just enjoy the PS4s amazing graphics with the knowledge that they'll be outdated eventually.

I agree. I'll be doing most of my gaming on PC with all the multiplats, PC exclusives and Oculus Rift, but I'll get a PS4 for the handful of exclusives that interest me.

There are several promising exlcusives on the PS4, although they may not be to your liking, many are still excited for them. In addition, many major sports games, like Madden and UFC aren't on PC. That's a big deal for me, since I love me some Madden. And finally, the PS4 brings a home entertainment hub to the living room, with streaming and bluray, along with the other services PS4 will provide. For those without a PC or other similar device, the PS4 can easily fill the gap.

I seriously doubt Deep Down will be an exclusive. I bet we'll get it on PC anyway.

PC + Nintendo for the widest range of experiences though Microsoft's actually got a pretty good-looking line-up so far.

Can't say I care to play FPS games like Killzone when my PC has not only better FPS games, but way more to choose from. There are a few other genres that Nintendo covers better than Sony's first party as well. Platformers are a big one.

Nintendo's first party consists of games that really don't have a comparable experience elsewhere which is a good thing. 

I think my first choice system for next gen, to go along with my PC, will be the 3DS.

Guess I'm just optimistic. You know, it is okay to excited for video games, and not be so cynical, right?

Nobody has played any of the upcoming exlcusives for any gaming platforms. Some of them will be great. Others, not so much. 

I'm assuming those PS4 exlusives will be great, because they look good, and I'm excited for them. Don't really care if I'm "wrong" at the end of the day.

It's reasonable to think that the PS4 will probably be the more attractive console for most PC gamers simply because we don't share as many games with the PS4, but to say that it is the only reasonable choice is actually quite unreasonable. If the major Playstation exclusives don't appeal to a certain PC gamer or if that person simply really loves some of the Xbox exclusives then of course it makes sense for that person to get an XB1 to go along with their PC. Same goes for people who really love Nintendo exclusives.

How many times do you Sony fanboys need to re-assure yourself that youre doing the right thing by buying a ps4?

You never know a lot of these so called great ps4 exclusives could flop or something on Xbone could take everyone by surprise. Only the foolish would make such a statement regarding which pair of gaming platforms is best before these consoles have even launched.
