Which system do you think will prevail?

Scorpio, it's already widely known about, everyone knows it's much more powerful and they know it actually has a 4K Blu-Ray drive. It's going to handle multi-platform titles far better, it's going to have exclusives that look better, it's going to steal the developer community support back from Sony which Microsoft lost due to the Xbox One, it's their swan song for the generation and a vicious second wind.
The Pro will have about 7 months of on the market lead time, but once E3 hits you should be expecting an actual showcase of the machine itself, after that it's all down hill for the PS4 Pro for the remainder of the PlayStation 4 life cycle.
Another thing to take into consideration, if you want 4K Blu-Ray and a 4K game console, if you go the Pro route you have to spend $700, and most likely buy an Xbox One S from Microsoft as your UHD BD player, Microsoft is going to capitalize on this as the system that does everything without the need for two devices and at a lower cost.
If you want 4K Blu-Ray, Microsoft wins on both system fronts.
@xkunle97: You realize it is possible to just read the thoughts already posted in the numerous other PS4 Pro vs Scorpio threads, rather than making your own?

While this thread shares a similarity to the others, it's goal is to discuss which one will actually be the more successful and the larger community adopted device, and citing reasons as to why.
@xkunle97: They are a year apart, which is a long time in gaming years.
That said, the Scorpio looks to be more powerful, but it's over a year off.
Personally, I'm not getting the PRO or Xbone Scorpio since they won't have their own set of games. I am interested in the Xbox 4/PS5 though.
I'm perfectly content with my Xbone/PC/PS4/Wii U.
ALSO: Dupe thread. There were about 5 other threads on this topic that were recently closed and traffic was directed here:

It's not a dupe thread, that thread is to discuss which one you want and why, this thread is to discuss what you think will be more successful and why.
I believe Scorpio will mop the floor. In fact, I believe it's possible Scorpio could seriously cripple PC gaming as well. We've already begun to see PC sales slip as console gaming has become so popular. Scorpio is likely going to have a unique cpu architecture which can compete with the latest i7 processors.

I don't know about it crippling PC gaming, however I can see it taking some people from the market who can't afford to keep up with how quickly it advances.
I think Scorpio might be real contender. Tbh I feel like the 360 was awful I blame Mattrick for that. But Xb1 seems infinitely better, it's reaching a point where I feel optimistic about Xbox and potentially buying ps4 later as a secondary console. I just pray the cycle of tail end dwindling number of exclusives dies with 360
