PS4 "share" feature.

I'm having a hard time gauging the excitement for this feature.  I can't tell if many of you think its just a gimmick or are some of you genuinely excited for it.  What are your thoughts about this supposedly revolutionary feature for PS4. 

I have no idea how it would work or how you would be able to edit shared videos.  I just hope its not just a way to spam people's twitter or facebook accounts.  Was this feature even asked for by gamers themselves.  I'm trying to imagine getting tons of videos of people playing knack on my facebook or other social accounts.  That would be extremely annoying.

Streaming gameplay videos is pretty big on PC.  There's even entire websites dedicated to watching people's streams.

sony has a long history of copying ideas from others, but i don't think anything they stole has ever been successful. :(

I can already feel that this share feature will not be implemented right for PS4.  I'm waiting for the fail....lol.  People are gonna get spammed with Knack gameplay footage of characters walking through a hallway and another video of a character killing enemies for coins or whatever knack is. lol

it's not something i'm into but i am sure some people will find it cool.

I like watching other people game so it would be cool see to see how my friends play games that we both own or a game I am thinking about buying. And you don't have to use it if you don't like it...

Share feature is probably one of their better ideas. I have always wanted a way to record moments while playing on consoles. I know usually you have to buy an addon to have a record feature. You don't upload the videos unless you want it to upload it.NEWMAHAY

you can record 15 minutes of gameplay and send it to someone. What is not to like about that?  :)

SW is unbelievable..... Just overall seems so unnecessary to what's already available.  I'm getting a six axis vibe or Vita back touchpad, or touchscreen.  Everything that seems so gimmickly and/or poorly implemented.

Most Youtube gameplay videos are are shorter than 15 minute segments. If you want to do it professional like then spend the extra $200 or whatever. This is so any one can have access to sharing. And the share feature hasn't been fully explained yet.
