PS4 should of had a game to prove power

I was just thinking about the diffrences between the X1 and ps4 and I know the ps4 is 100 cheaper and more powerful spec wise but I wondered how would the ps4 be able to prove that its more powerful. From the people I know everyone knew or assumed that the Ps3 was more powerful then the 360 but over the 7-8 years there were only a couple games to show of the diffrence and Im not sure people really realized. I know it takes years to see the diffrence between machines but I would say my point is do people think Sony would of been better off if they made some graphically supierior game for launch just to prove its claim of power.

This is interesting, i never knew the PS4 had to display power when most games showed in the Xbox conference were multiplats, i also find it funny how Xbox loyals are screaming about the cloud stating TitanFall and Sunset Overdrive do Cloud even though TitanFall is also on PC and Destiny, Division were actually demonstrated on the PS4 which are games that also work on the Cloud. Oooh so much thy Cloud beheth thy power of infinity of thee, as if we have not seen this time of gaming ever before on PC. Also if the PS3 is anything to go by, i would bet my money on Sony exclusives over Microsofts

Infamous second son was the best looking game I personally saw at E3, I think that did a decent job of showing off the consoles power.

The only games that were 1080p 60 FPS on the ONE were a fighting game and a racing game (With static environments and prebaked lighting).

Open-world games like DR3 seemed to suffer from poor textures, pop-ins, and huge FPS dips.

PS4 already showed that it can handle an open-world game with far better graphics than the ONE at a stable 60 FPS. I think that's proof enough.

Each one of them is head and shoulder above anything on Xbone.

DR3 is also an open world game, but it has crap textures, almost no colors, and runs at around 15 FPS. There's also no destroyable environments.

Seems that the only games on the ONE that will run at 1080p60FPS are fighting, racing and linear games.

We know KZ and Infamous have gameplay, The order looked exactly the same as the trailer according to devs, Deep Down is proved to be realtime, here's a new capture. That DS4 controling the game was just sexy!

And The Dark Sorcerer only used 4g of GDDR5, first iteraiton of PS4 engine, the game based on that would look much better according to David Cage.

So yeah, there's your answere.

here is my theory.  if the ps4 was sooo much more powerful, like the people claim on these boards, then why havent we seen it already?  it should be inevitable if it is soooo much more powerful from the get go.  its has a minimal power difference.

Actually, we have. Compare the open-world games DR3 and Infamous: SS.

DR3 has crap graphics, popins, no colors, and runs at 15 FPS.

Infamous: SS has far better graphics, destructability and runs at a steady 60 FPS.

The difference is a lot larger than lems want to believe.

The only games we have seen running at 1080p60fps on the ONE are a fighting game and a racing game (With static environments and prebaked lighting).

Exclusives comparisons are subjective. If there's a difference, it will be shown in multiplats, like allways happens.

Yes, with crap textures and terrible AI. They had to make a giant compromise to fit in all those zombies.

Read the digital foundry article. The ONE is far weaker than the PS4. Deal with it.
