Well I'd rather have a 128gb SSD than a 1.5 TB HDD, but both would be fricken excellent.
4096x2160p resolution support? Sounds highly unrealistic. but Sony 4KHD projectors have been around for YEARs.

Not a snowballs chance in hell.
As do I. But Sony does have several 4KHD projectors and 4KHD professional cameras, they've been on the market for years. Also, Panasonic has a 150" 4096x2160p plasma TV.. it costs $500,000 though :(I highly doubt the massive resoultion junmp for the next PS console.

I bet were going to have to wait at least 20 years for that $500000 4KHDTVto drop in price.

Can PC video cards even support that? When I was looking at them the makes resolution most of them said was 1600p, I might be mistaken though :PUpscaled resolution probably, again MonsieurXSounds like it... We're going to get more and more 4KHD TVs on the market for the next 10 years (I can imagine 4KHD becoming the standard in 2020, or earlier) I guess it'll run games in 1920x1080p and scale them to 4096x2160p, for those earlier buyers :) :D
I highly doubt the massive resoultion jump for the next PS console. It's almost impossible to get that resoultion on current HD TV's.super600
Yeah, it's just false hype.
I'm going to say no, especially to the "FULL 3D 4KHD" thing. No one has said TVs or will have them in the forseeable future.
Doens't sound all that realistic, and SSD's are too expensive, I'd rather have a HDD.LINK

I can see it having 4K support, but thats it.... Even my sound receiver has 4k support to upscale to that resolution.

They already did 4k2k support with 4 PS3s and one of those Sony projectors. We already have higher resolutions anyway. Plus, TVs aren't going higher than 1080p for awhile. Support means nothing if theres nothing there to use it.
And unless you want a $1000 console then you better he happy with a 1.5TB HDD :P
*EDIT: Just noticed the 3D part. I call BS. I don't think even Intel's Thunderbolt has the bandwidth for that. DisplayPort doesn't even have that. I guess this is another 120fps, 4D thing
So bigger HDD for more installs? :osoulitaneYeah that's great. Can install full games so you don't have to lug all your games around when you lug your PS4 to a buddies house or to a hotel as you travel.

2 jobs + giving up your manhood will still not be enough for the PS4

On a TV, 1080p with AA looks extremely crisp. Higher resolutions than that for the next gen consoles will just be a waste really.
Yeah that's great. Can install full games so you don't have to lug all your games around when you lug your PS4 to a buddies house or to a hotel as you travel. That's not really a good idea since then they would need a bunch of security things to make sure people don't pirate the games. It's "upscaled bro. It's upscaled..." But seriously no PC can run any game besides Tetris-like games at that res.A higher capacity harddrive is a must, but consoles haven't even taken use of 1080p yet. Until 4k televisions stop costing more than a mansion, no chance in hell of anything being able to take advantage of it.
Well already this gen you can buy quite a few games off XBL and PSN (I'm not completely sure about this), so it wouldn't really surprise me if even more games released there next gen.If htey 1.5TB is true than I won't be surprised to see a huge push for Digital Distribution

Tell that to AMD who has games running on 6 monitors from 2 cards. 4k2k was done with GT5P with 4 PS3s. It's not that hard to do.

PSN has started doing that lately as well. FOr the most part it is for older games but Infamous 2 can be downlaoded but its like 8GBs or something

Why did nobody post the leaked PS4 concept design images? The srticle supposedly these are the actuall early concepts for the PS4 and that these were also "leaked".
I like it. I am predicting this RIGHT NOW. PS4 WILL be revealed at Gamescom next month. Everything is going EXACTLY the same way things were going prior to the PS3 slim being revealed. A bunch of rumors started pouring in.....eventually the system got leaked....and was officially confirmed at the german Gamescom convention in 09. Mark my words....PS4 WILL be revealed at Gamescom in august 2011.

Where did I say that would make it harder due to more storage? You said it would make it easier due to not having to carry games around, which means install it and not use a disc. For that to work you would then need to have a bunch of security things meaning that you can't pirate games, thus making it even more annoying for people who actually buy the games. Nothing about more storage=harder for gamers. :?[QUOTE="soulitane"][QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]Yeah that's great. So it's now confirmed the Wii-U and PS4 will be equal in power? Sorry, but a box like that will not be holding hardware more powerful than Wii-U. I hope that's real, just so I can say "I F'ING CALLED IT!"

No one posted that because it's not a leaked image. It was a Joseph Dumary design.

I really odn't see us needing 1.5TB on our home consoles... Honestly I don't even need that on my PC yet.Ringx55
It could come in handy if digital distribution takes off this generation.
