For the same money I could build a far superior Windows based machine. The Apple brand costs money, why would I want to pay for that? It offers no more functionality.

It's just true that I can build such a machine, and that the apple logo costs money and offers me nothing. However, it does have plenty to offer n00bs - nothing wrong with that. 

Apple have done a great job at marketing themselves as selling a super simple computer to use which 'just works'. Nothing wrong with that. 

Apple try to sell their products to me, or many others - they can't. Because those features aren't compelling. 

PC always wins

FYI. All the same hardware. 

So on the same hardware MacOS renders less frames. 

But credit where credit is due - let's imagine I did buy an apple product, by the time I go to sell it, it would depreciate FAR LESS than a generic PC counterpart.

Consoles; PS4>>x1>Wii U. PS4 is 2 times better than x1 and 4 times better than Wii U. 

Computers; PC vs Mac  and I don't care which people prefer. 

PC/MAC since you can do more with these platforms than just games.

PC for me. I have consoles in addition to my PC, but PC offers a far superior gaming experience, so I get all my multiplatform games on there, as well as all the exclusives.

I'll stick to my PC for sure.  I'll buy a PS4 if I was to buy any console.  It's easily looking to be the best one so far.
