Yeah, it is pretty terrible. It's not hard to see that at all.

That said, some of their offerings have been brilliant- I appreciate Velocity, Rocket League, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, and The Walking Dead.

MS isn't even trying anymore either. If Sony would step up their game I'd hope Microsoft would step up theirs, and vice versa. This is an area where competition has gotten lazy. Some of the offerings are so bad I almost don't want to download them as I don't want this shit to litter my library, which looks less and less respectable with shit like this in it.

Basically sony sold a ton of consoles and ps+ is mandatory for online play. They don't need to entice anyone to pay for online anymore. Sony's just coasting at this point.

@DrkeX: because those indies are better than games like Thief. A game's budget doesn't dictate its value, example being Rocket League.

my psn expires this month, don't think i will renew it until there's 1 game worth playing. May be a long wait because outside of DkS3 there's not a single multiplayer game worth even trying.

Just so I'm clear, but we got a stealth inc game (I think, might be wrong), Rocket League, olli olli 2, xeodrifter, Titan Souls, Apotheon (okay I wasn't that big of a fan of this), and quite a few rad stuff like Tower of Guns and such, and we're knocking it why?

It's not the big selling point that some of the playstation plebs gas it up to be, but other than a month here and there where they misfire, you still get a pretty cool unique group of games, that actually play well. Unlike the triple A space where there is every excuse in the book made for those games don't play well.

For instance GWG gave me Ass Creed Black Flag, and in theory that's supposed to be a good game according to this forum, and I can assure, it's garbage. It plays like shit mechanically, it's awful from a mission design point, the story aspect is mind numbing more than clever, and it's even terrible at the pirate simulating. But yeah, sony should give us more triple A wank, because **** the game being good or not.

For the small annual fee, I'm finding it to be worth it. Some recent examples of games I've been happy to take:-

PS4 - King's Quest, Rocket League, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

PS3 - Twisted Metal, Gunslinger: Call of Juarez.

I seem to have missed The Walking Dead: Season 2 from last month for PS4.

Anyway, definitely getting my money's worth.

I think they need to pick up the offerings. Seems they've been really slow to start doing retail games on PS4. The indie games are strong, but not so much retail games. When I picked up my PS4, I was happy that Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, MGS V, Rocket League, Resogun, and a few others were in my account. So it's not like there was nothing on PS4, but I think the they need to start focusing more on PS4.

It might be that it is spread a bit thin, going across 3 different platforms. I mean obviously they aren't going to give out 5 or 6 really great games on 3 different platforms every single month. It actually seems like the PS3 has suffered a bit as well, since the PS4 was added to the mix. Hopefully when the PS3 drops off, the PS4 games will start getting better.

Yup, more games than ever, including full retail games. I dont even have to buy/rent games now since SONY has decided to include so many with PSN+

The thing with PS+ is, it has its flashes of brilliance, and those are awesome, but generally, there has been a decline in quality since the PS3 days is all.

All the jerkoffs who bought into XBox live are the reason we even have to pay for online gaming. At least Sony gives us free games. Some months are good some months suck but hey at least it's something. If those Xturds had their way than we'd all be screwed.

it used to be terrible but now you can hide the old app and simply have the messenger app in your phone which takes you directly to messages its quicker, easier and better looking than the old one... only issue i have right now is that messages dont load up as soon as they are received hopefully that will be fixed but other than that its perfect but hey to each their own

For real stop apologizing for Sony. They sold you out! They said they were charging to make the network better and it's not. It's not ant better than it was before they started charging for it.

They took that cash and put into there in demand games where they charge even more.

What's worse is their biggest game Uncharted 4 won't even get dedicated servers, and instead is P2P? That is bull shit! Where is the money going? They shut down MLB The Show 14 after 14 months?

I don't think it's right that any of us have to pay for multi player, but you can count on MS servers to keep running way longer than Sony.

I never cared for the ps + games even on ps3. The discounts you get during the holidays and other sales they have on psn pays for itself if you buy a lot of games. I do agree that the picks have been very underwhelming. Are they still doing that vote for the game thing?

PS+ was great in the PS3 days, but as soon as the PS4 came out and paying for online was implemented, it has become a huge fucking pile of steaming shit.

It is complete shit that console gamers have to pay for multi when PC gets it free. Bottom line.

I had the pleasure of playing Gauntlet this week and it's really fun... I'm looking forward to more. I really want a vita port.

Psn+ hasn't been consistently great, but it's been good enough for me to get my fill... They (sony) have everyone milking off the teet now anyway, so they probably don't care to much about keeping the freebies stellar.
