PS5 edges closer to oblivion with impending lawsuit.

We all know the PS5 has already failed to deliver on all fronts, from the lacklustre launch lineup, lower than expected sales, performance issues, appalling behaviour from its fanbase and the recent news that Sony is actively supporting scalpers.

But their disastrous time with the PS5 is now set to get even worse as reports reveal they are now being investigated over their failed DualSense controller which has been plagued by malfunctions since launch;

Like I have said for several years, all the big three use the same exact analog modules, so problem likely originates either with their supplies, or whether their Chinese manufacturers get their parts from other lowest bidder Chinese suppliers. It could come from their cost saving corner cutting in a number of aspects of the design of 8th gen analog modules (probably got worse 9th gen).

Hello. For anyone looking for a quick fix, i have one for you. Take a spoon of butter, melt it until its liquid and pour it on the analog stick that has the issue (very important to not use salted butter or it will corrode plastic parts). Give it some time to harden. Your stick won't move anymore and the drifting is of course fixed. Hope it helps 😊

I just read the issue and I don't see this somewhat lawsuit going anywhere. There are 9 people reporting drifting out of 5 million. That is a 0.00018%. defect rate.

Controller drift has become such a comon feature in consoles, developer should just incorporate it into their games.

For example make games endless runners where only precise jumping is required and moving is done automatically.

Not really sure what to believe here, hopefully they fix all the issues by the time the PS5 revision comes out. Because as an outsider, between the controller malfunctions, no memory cooling solution, buggy OS, it really seems that there are a lot of kinks to be worked out here.
