I know Sony sells tons of games, but I don't think they will take that kind of loss. $449 maybe but that, seems crazy.

Can definitely see the digital price at $399 which might even be £349 here in the uk which if true would be an incredible value.

I also suspect an announcement of an exclusive deal that was worked out and possibly an announcement from a first party studio that hasn't been heard from in a few years.

yeah at this stage i would expect a price and release date. bring this whole cat and mouse game to an end. maybe an announcement of a similar deal to the 25 bucks/month for 24 months setup also just to cover that base off.

i think they will just say screw it and match price the XSX for the disc version and that's it. they can get away with it especially if they have a solid exclusive or 2 at launch that will get peoples attention. this will probably sound arrogant but....it's a playstation. they havent completely crapped the bed like they did with the PS3. they could very well sell that at a small profit to be honest. The people who want a physical PS5 games collection will probabaly be a bit pissed but they will pay it as they value having the physical collection.

i think they will be willing to go to 399 for the discless version and take a bit of a hit as people who will be buying that will also need to buy all their games through PSN. if they go for 399 its going to make the XSS a pretty bitter pill to swallow. the all digital PS5 is a lot of extra hardware for just 100 extra bucks (quite literally...the physical size difference is huge :P). like MS, they want more people going digital. they want more people buying from PSN.

Hopefully we also have a clearer picture of what day one and the first 3 months looks like for the PS5 and it would be very nice if they have a surprise.....with some actual gameplay.....running on an actual PS5 (a next gen game demoed on actual next gen hardware to show off the start of next gen.....shocking idea i know :O). What has Sony japan been working on? was the last guardian their last release.

@davillain-: updates on launch games and beyond. The "beyond" part is really interesting but its still a 40min show dont expect many announcements.

Given their wording on the blog, "one more look of the games coming", I don't anticipate any new game reveals.

I expect gameplay of what we've seen, prices and launch date. Nothing more.

I still hope to see a new Uncharted announced for PS5 within the next year.
