Ps5 gamers less skilled than developers thought

The patch notes call it “a more balanced gameplay experience”, but it‘s obvious Housemarque had to dumb it down.

The 1000 people who purchased this game its 3rd week in the UK should be very pleased to hear about this.

They nerfed the first DLC of Doom Eternal because hermits were crying with the usual "i have two wives, seven kids and five jobs. I don't have the time to get good at your video game (all of this while already playing on the lowest difficulty)". This means that hermits are as trashy.

Explains Ninja Gaiden Sigma being dumbed down. Probably expecting QTE boss fights or something too.

This news must be like that PS E3 announcement: "two-ninety-nine" *walks off stage.

This years E3 for Sony is just: "Returnal now easier" *walks off stage.

I heard they were looking for a way to add places to save since you couldn't save for over an hour or two at a time and people didn't have time to play that long in some cases.

Of course its been reduced on all systems, but the one bitching are hermits. Most likely because the game is much more popular on pc, but still, imagine crying about the game being too difficult when playing on a mouse/keyboard on Very Easy.

Glad I got the platinum before the patch. Didn't find the game to hard, the challenge was just right. they should just have a difficulty selection instead of changing the game for everyone.

Lol no I'm very aware of what Hellblade is... but unlike PS, this is one of the very few games of this type from Xbox Studios. Variety is good :)

Yet the hype for souls type games by cows would indicate that a few like the harder stuff

I often wonder how long these games would be if they were not artificially difficult, if they'd still be worth the now-70 dollar price.

I understand the appeal of games like this, but the whole trial-and-error method to playing them is not what I would call fun.

Hmm, perhaps Ninja Gaiden Black (og Xbox) and Ninja Gaiden 2 (Xbox 360)? IIRC, the difficulty was tonned down for the Sigma re-release on PS3.
