Actually it unifies EVERYTHING about ALL of the user's consoles... it's a much more extensive service than Live. You should watch the complete presentation before speaking.
And yes, the service is very similar to Second Life, Myspace, YouTube and other online communities which have already proven to be very successful...... but no console has ever stepped up and created a similar application centered around the gaming community. This is an awesome leap forward for Sony..... and you're just mad to see it happen, lol.

Yes it is. It is basically a virtual community. Quite honestly I don't get the appeal of those type of places. For one just like any other chat room, message board, or online community you really don't know who you could be talking to. That is why reality will always trump VR. Then you basically know who you are talking to.

PSH is a MMo and not a online service . having PSH won't make your RFOM online experience better , it won't make your Motorstorm online experience better , it won't make any games online experience better . What are are you talking about. Having an integrated friends list can be a world of difference. How in the hell do you know if future multiplayer games will not be any good? PS Home is simple acting as a medium to connect to other games. Like the Live community. Except for the fact that home will be way more interactive. Now it's up to developers to make multiplayer work. And if PS Home lives up to its potential (which I don't see why it shouldn't) then it will be the most impressive online community on consoles). I have both consoles and I love XBOX Live. You seem like an angry Lem that is just hating on an amazing online setup.

Lol, you're in such denial. It will make all online experiences better. Online lounges for games & movies where you can play arcade games & view user content.... an online service that provides trophies, furniture, & clothing instead of the mere achievements you get with XBL for reaching milestones in the games you play. The service just provides a lot more... there's no way to down play it.
Now when it does start to offer something none of the other consoles do, they start saying "oh teh copying"

Did you watch the video? It integrates all of the aspects of XBOX Live along with the new stuff Sony is implementing. Of course now it is up to developers to make sure multiplayer games are fun.

You can play games without Live. Just like you can play games without Home. Home just gives you more rewards for playing games than Live does. And it gives them to you in a fashion that's more enjoyable than just looking at stats. Once again, you lose.

Funny thing, I didn't even know what Second Life was until after Home was unveiled. :lol:Â I don't care if it seems like a rip off of Second Life. I just know that it makes my purchase of a PS3 later this spring a hell of a lot easier.
