PSN 1.5 mil users vs Xbox 500k in 6 months

Does anybody know how many xbox 360 was sold in the first six months?? 1.5 mil vs 500k (3x's as much) still seems alot..it is unlikily each ps3 will have 3 accounts.

500K of Xbox user is INCLUDING the free silver and paid gold.

i have three ps accounts for the *** and US store ;)

But then again, PS = freeeee

xbox = pay  

Although i am sure most people on here with a PS3 have two accounts, just because they have played the Sigma demo ;P

If you have 3 accounts, how many others have multiple accounts? Maybe 1.5 million is a solid number after all...

But still, it's free, I'd expect there to be more users than something you have to pay for. That is, if the PS3 can get to 10 million units sold/shipped...

I really don't understand why people use stuff in time frames to compare. It's about here and now. Not about a year back and not about a year in the future. It sounds so childish too. 'I get 15 bucks a month! - Yeah, well I get 60 bucks a month. - Yeah, but I got my job 6 months ago, you have yours over 1,5 years so that doesn't count!'

The simple truth; 6 million > 1,5 million.

And no matter how much you want it to be false; loads of games > not too many games > just wait theories.

Calling all Cars is awesome :D. More fun than any game on Live arcade IMO.

Do you not understand that at this rate PSN accounts should overlap Live as more PS3's are sold? It makes sense to me. And considering the fact that PSN is free, no wonder the number is climbing so fast. I doubt that it will stop.

My friend is on his 500th PS3, PATHETIC. (he also has 8000 PSN accounts. (YAY I can pull stuff out of my butt too)

Well anyways It is great too hear PSN doing well. I don't have a PS3 yet, but planning on getting one.

why lemmings still think XBL is so great when it costs them money. ya, its SUPPOSED to be better when they made you pay.

but just wait for Home, it will make M$ look greedy in comparison.

Probably because more people are willing to make a free account than one that costs money.

I don't know what Sony gets from PSN, but I know MS probably makes up for some lost profit with Live numbers.

ive had my ps3 for 2 months and i already have 6 games i play online with. resistance - calling all cars - fight night round 3 - nba2k7 - motorstorm - mk2

there is plenty other games with online to those are just the ones i play. nice fanboy comment

and? XBL is updated Daily and throughought the day, also with TV and Movie content coming out every Tuesday and Thursday.  Home is gonna be awesome but they just have to do something to keep the players on it everday for a very long time, otherwise it will just get boring and be another  "Sims"

A problem with Home is how many microtransactions. From what I seen it kinda looks like it would be full of them.Chaos_HL21
