I really hate PSN network, very slow downloads compared to XBL, most of the time connection error ( timed out ) :(

I could get online on my Vita but I cant play Duke online on it for some reason. PS4 is also online downloading the PS+ stuff.

Not that slow, only slow is Ps3...damn it take ages to to start up psn store, on Ps4 it is very fast. Downloads is fast on both imo

I just got done watching Sony's "The Interview" on PS4 via streaming for a second time (I watched it last night and again today with the lady).

I also downloaded all the PS+ games today across PS3/PS4/Vita.

I never had issues today, but if there are issues brewing it's good timing on my part as I'm off to bed. Hopefully it all blows over as I'll be gone all day tomorrow? If I'm lucky, it will be like it never happened.

A few hours ago I was on Xbox.com for a completely different reason (looking at Xbox Headset adapters for $25 for another user) and noticed XBL had issues this time on 360, I figured it was temporary as it always is. As of the last few hours XBL says: "Xbox Live service alert. See details ". Of course these things change every few hours, so I'm sure everything will be fine in a few hours. It always is for these things. I've even had problems with Origin, Steam, and Blizzard from time to time. Should I make a thread every time? These services go up and down sporadically, so I just wait it out. I'm not defending it, I'm just once again explaining my take as this is a forum and I'm on topic.

I'm not sure a thread every few days on various servers is worth threads tbh. Internet isn't 100%. Hopefully those affected are okay.

My words to those that suffer: It sucks when services go down. Sorry. Play some SP games?

My personal experience so far: I was lucky. I watched a movie tonight streaming and downloaded 10gigs of games from PSN across three systems and didn't have an issue, so it's definitely not widespread yet. Does that inspire hope? I dunno.

I guess we are supposed to make threads for all the services that have hiccups? It seems like the trend these days.

My only issue is there is only so much I can say on the topic over and over and over...and I fear mostly trolls go nuts in these topics more than legit, mature discussion. Heck, even this well reasoned post might set off fanboy trolling. You can never tell.

Feels good to not be affected by either of these services.

So frustrating and I don't even pay for anything -- they really need to make these servers more robust if they are going to insist on charging people.

We should all be thankful that when PSN and XBL go down that we can all still come here to System Wars.

It's the fucking truth. I'm getting sick of being DC'd every five minutes when playing MP games on PSN. Yet when I play MP games on XBL I never get DC'd.

I'm paid up until September this year for PS+, but no more online MP games for PS4, and no more PS+ subscriptions for me after this bullshit.

I feel really sorry for all the 360 owners who decided to go with the PS4. Having to downgrade to such a shitty online service must really suck.

That's nice for you. Meanwhile I'm addicted to TLOUR's excellent multiplayer and DC also has a strong MP component. And that's not taking into account the other multiplats with MP.

"Unstable as ****," that'll be the reason for five days of downtime combined last year versus three for XBL. Unstable indeed. Those 300,000 servers tho.

Why no co-op mode? Probably because last gen had enough games with tacked on, shitty MP no one wanted that was a waste of resources. Wolfenstein was very sensible in this regard. I hope they've set a trend. Does anyone actually like horde mode?

Meanwhile last month I got Injustice and Deadly Premonition and this month I get The Swapper and Dook Nookem 3D. Sounds good to me. Sorry if Phil isn't dipping into his pockets as much as he should.

I've got MP games, and XBL is only slightly better so far this gen considering that pedigree. Speaking of, congratulations to XBL for being the first service this year to suffer an outage. I don't remember the SW thread for it though.

You gotta wonder what the heck they are doing.... I mean, the current 10.9 million subscribers should already assure more than enough money for maintenance and a good/stable network...

PSN is averaging an outage every two weeks. That is piss poor service. But hey we have PSN NOW that you can invest in too. Brought to you by the same assholes responsible for the rickety PSN +.

Possibly. Of course, none of us have played the game so it's hard to tell what could have been built around any MP mode.
