It's up on my side. I live in Portugal btw, but I can't tell you whether or not other countries have been affect or not. Mine hasn't so far. It seems to be a data leak, not an outage like the last time I think.How many people from Portugal are there here :shock: I'm one of them too :3

I changed my password to be safe, but honestly since i don't have a credit card on my account, besides the network downtime i had a whole lot of nothing go down the first time. If this is even real, I should be safe.

Their only profitable divisions are TV and cameras, the hacking thing just kicks them while their already down.
Don't forget that SOE is still profitable for them. Hell, Sony just happen to be releasing their biggest and potentially most profitable exclusive as a F2P game on PC.

Their losses overall overshadow any of their profitable divisions. Clearly their not doing well at all.
Update: Kotaku reports that the list in the Pastebin doc is a copy of a seemingly unrelated list of email addresses from March. Still, when was the last time you changed your password?

You are right, if the PS4 is a flub at release similar to the PS3, I would surprised if they released a PS5.
HA HA.....I love how everyone is making sure they are able to still get on PSN. Not once did the thought of their password and personal info being compromised enter their head!
Lol at lemmings creaming their pants over this. Here's another update. "Update 3: Anonymous has deleted the Tweet claiming that it hacked the PSN. You can see the image of the Tweet as it existed in the original story below. We're still waiting to hear back from Sony, but the removal of the Tweet is probably all the confirmation we need that this was fake. We'll update with any further developments if and when they occur."
Update 4: Sony has given IGN the following statement: "Weve confirmed that the recent claim that PlayStation Network was illegally hacked and that customer passwords and email addresses were accessed is completely false." All is well! Le false..
