Yes, my brother has a PS3,

Took him 3-4 hours to download Sigma,

Took me about 30-45 mins to Download C&C,

They're both about  1 gig if I can remember correctly.

not a lie... it was pretty fast the other thursday too when ninja gaiden sigma demo came out and everyone was downloading it at once. 10 minutes... for a 1 gig demo. so just because you have issues doesnt mean we all do. my PSN is greate20Dylan

XBL is an established, world reknowned online gaming service and interface. M$ has been working on it for years, and right now the amount of multimedia content (game demos, movie trailers, TV episode series, etc) is unparalleled. Since when is $50 a month worth even mentioning? For the depth and quality of the service, $4 a month is more than worth it.

How can you even compare home to XBL? You haven't even played Home, jesus. It could be the worst interface ever; littered with pay-to-obtain "extras" in order to "design" your home space.

Or it could be awesome.

My bet is once home is actually released, THEN people can use it legitmately in arguments about online services. Right now we don't know if we're going to be getting a laggy, heaping mass of expensive turtle dung or a decent online service; so XBL is still far and away king. (don't even mention PSN, lol)

2. Your experience with the online service is gonna vary depending on your Internet connection to the service your connecting to.  So its gonna be diff for everyone and then diff again depending on the system. 

3. Claiming one is faster than the other ..... hey what ever, just realize that, that's YOUR experience, and that does not mean thats what its like for EVERYONE.

Me personally PSN > XBL in terms of speed and that is after the udpate.  I was the one that posted the thread about forza 2 being released ( demo ) http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25622159&page=0  And it took 2 hours to download a just under 700 mb file on XBL and I have a 5mb internet connection.  PSN, I PERSONALLY get much faster speed from.   And my OPINION is that MS claim about  making XBL 3 X faster since the update = BS.  And again thats my opinion.   And this is based off of my usage with both systems on MY INTERNET CONNECTION. 

O & when I play games online my "lag meter" or what ever you wanna call it, in most games is always really good, so I have no problem playing games online, just getting files from XBL = enjoy the wait.
