PsOne:
Saturn:
N64:

All 3 systems were really good. If youre looking at graphics alone its obviously gonna be the 64. Saturn was behind in that field due to its early death and underwhelming tech but stil had some incredible games (though too few). Playstation couldnt compete graphically with the 64 but still had an imprssive library.
Â
All in all I'd give the 64 the win though.Â
those saturn textures are horrible :?
PSone looks a little grainy.
N64 looks the best. but. .
. . PSone had the best library
saturn had the best niche games
n64 was for kids IMO

 Right right, sure sure

N64 wins hands down for best games and best graphics...theres no arguement here.gamer1137
Oh yes there is :P . Anyway, TC are you talking about graphics? Â

Show me a N64 racing game that looks better than Gran TurismoÂ

ugh, i can't remember any N64 realistic racing game :(
As someone who lived through it, the transition from 2D to 3D was a very rough time. I lost intrest in games for a good while during the N64/PS1 era. I'd much rather have a SNES, heck even a NES, than any one of those platforms.THETRUEDOZAHYou should've owned a Saturn then.

Ummmm, I think you're forgetting Mario Kart 64?
lol, just kidding, just kidding. I couldn't resist :P

Actually, you can make any argument that says that PS1 had better games than 64.
Yea, most people will say PS1 is 50 times better but IMo n64 is just that much better.
Â
I would take Banjo Tooie/Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, OoT, Mario 64 Chameleon Twist, Bomberman Hero over the enitre PS1 lineup
Â
Although i mus say the original Ape Escape was sickÂ

Hmmm so we are talking about graphics then? Ummm nothing really at the top of my head, quite in fact probably nothing will. Anyway, what does that have to do with what I wrote above? Â
that was a new era of gaming: 3D
too sad that Saturn don't do 3D well, it was horrible looking
while PS and N64 did pretty nice 3D at that time

Â
Satrun did 3D better then the PS1 i think, the PS1just had better cinematics
Who cares how much games the PS had in its library, it didn't have as much hits as the 64 did! There are alot to say like Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Orcarina of Time etc. Could the PS compare to the 64? Not at all! The PS was still good, it just didn't succeed as much. I never really had much attention on the Saturn.
That's always been one of the worst arguments IMO. Anyone can say the same thing for any console. I would take Banjo Tooie/Kazooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, OoT, Mario 64 Chameleon Twist, Bomberman Hero over the enitre PS1 lineup HappyInvader101

I personally didnt think the PS1 had many amazing games. Yea there was FF7, Ape Escape, Crash and Spyro but what else? FF8 was ok and FF9 was terribleÂ

It's not that you shouldn't think the N64 was better since it's your opinion. But the "I'd take X or XXX games over all of other's systems library" has always been a weak argument in my opinion. Because everyone can choose a set of games and say the same thing.[QUOTE="HappyInvader101"][QUOTE="Panzer_Zwei"][QUOTE="HappyInvader101"]That's always been one of the worst arguments IMO. It has always been a weak arguement because it is entirley opinion, but a lot of the system wars is opinion.Â

Â
oh yea, right? N64 had such horrible games and graphics. You know, only games like Mario64, mario Kart, goldeneye, perfect dark, conker's bad fur day, Smash Brothers, wcw vs nwo, Ocarina of time, Majora's mask, you know, all bull$h!t:roll:
i wouldn't even go that far....after all, some speedbeat Mario in 20 minutes.  fact is just crash is a fad that wore off, everyone still knows mario's name
Â
sure it's cheap, because it's only 16 stars, but hey, it counts.....the 70star venture lasts an hour
Â
PSOne pwned that entire generation. There's no comparison or debate. the N64 had some classics, but it couldn't save Nintnedo from losing the generation and almost killing its 3rd party supporters in the process.Dreams-Visions
how? i never heard anything big about playstation
Â
I had a Nintendo 64 that generation. It just appealed to me.
I honestly never gave the other systems a chance, but mostly because I could only afford one at a time.Â
lol my playstation experience was never what you'd call interactive, and i tried to pick it up a few times.
Nintendo had all the games, and that's all I ever played because that was the big thing. I didn't hear much of anything till PS2 came out. and nintendo still managed to compete a fair bit with sony with 64 before retiring that to move to gamecube.
