PSP 3000 simply because you can't use UMDs with the go. I would never buy a handheld (or a console) where you can only download the games.
I have that one myself...I am so upset that my vader is fading.[QUOTE="RyanShazam"]
Well they both suck but if you were to get one get the PSP3000
I have the

Aww that sucks man... Sorry to hear that. I try to keep mine in a good condition but the silver lining on the back is getting scratched :(
if your just starting out and don't buy many used games, than the form factor in more than enough of a trade off for the lack of a UMD drive. of course this is assuming you have a strong wireless connection or a PS3 with internet to download from. The PSP Go seems to get unfairly bashed by those who haven't played it, granted i still have yet to buy my own, but if you think Digital might be the way for you than you can't go wrongdarkspineslayer
It's the fact that you don't get full access to the PSP's library of games with the PSP Go, because not every game is up for download.
I love digital download, I love how sleek and sexy the Go looks, and how it feels in my hands, and I hope that Sony puts forth the effort to make the digital marketplace shine on the PSP2, but they slipped up with releasing the Go.

It's going to be alright, just look for the silver lining! Oh wait, I guess that figure of speech doesn't apply here.[QUOTE="RyanShazam"]

Should you buy a PSPGo
Positives: Bluetooth, smaller size
Negatives: smaller library, smaller screen, cost more
neutralor deceptive:
16gb memory - also available for the normal psp for ~$50
apps - there were suppose to be some... where are they?
battery life - same as psp 3000... why?
So unless bluetooth, and size are really important to you I wouldn't recommend the go.
People saying both suck either:
A. Don't own a PSP or PSP Go and are DS trolls.
OR
B. They DO own a PSP or PSP Go but have very crappy games that they judge the system by those games.
Anyway, I'd choose the 3000 over the because it's less expensive, and you get the whole library of PSP games. But for looks, get the GO.
You know, I was very much against the Go when it was announced, but now, I have one and I'm very pleased with it. It all depends on how you play games...when I was collecting games, I wanted box art and perfect discs. Now, I have less money to spend on collecting and would rather just enjoy them instead of seeing the boxes sitting on a shelf getting dusty. I also picked up a used Go in perfect condition (even had a screen guard on it) for $150...which I used my old PSP 1000 and a few games to trade for. Take into account exactly what games you want to play and find out what is available on the network and readily available in stores. Either way, you're going to get a great system and have access to some fantastic titles.
