dsiware games? It's mostly banking on future potential right now.I dunno, what's exclusive to DSi anyway?

The day the PSP has two analog nubs will be the day the DS will be overthrown. For four years Sony hasn't done this, and thus I declare that they are incapable of producing quality handhelds.princeofshapeirI second this. Like DS vs PSP, the DSi win by default due to being the only Gaming system out of the both of them, unfortunatly.
OK I know you don't like DD and would prefer you're physical copies but DD for handhelds is total win, and heres why:IMO DD only = instant fail.

[QUOTE="IronBass"]The DSi can play the whole DS library (aka best handheld library EVER)... so no, the DSi still wins.desyplethis equals fact I'd rather have a DS Lite personally, since the DSi can't play GBA games.

Not a chance. Ninty owns the handheld space.

while it may not be better, i think sonys finally conviced me that they are starting to get the right idea for handhelds. I wouldnt have bought a psp, i only borrowed it from my cousin for a while, but this one im definately going to buy. No discs or cartridges for a handheld is awesome, I know there is dsiware, but i can already tell that sonys downloadable store with the psp go will be much better
Not really....[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="Samox"]
Nah. PSP just straight up sucks.

When its being compared to DS? Yes, really.SamoxThat depends. The DS SRPGs are not match for the PSP's, for example.
The PSP does have some good games! There's Metal Gear Acid 1 and 2, Metal Gear Portable Ops, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and... um... yeah.princeofshapeirDisgaea, FFTWoTL, SAC, Daxter, Jeanne D' Arc, Resistance Retribution, Megaman Maverick Hunter X, Castlevania X Dracula Chronicles, Patapon 1 & 2...
Well, the PSP 3000 is a more functional and better piece of actual hardware, with more features, more powerful hardware, and more flexabilty then the DSi. Thats just raw facts of the two handhelds as electronic devices.
However, if you want a portible system as a purely gaming device, most people would agree that the DSi has a larger, more diverse, and overall better library of games, notwithstanding the PSP's graphical rendering advantages. There are a lot of good games on the PSP, with many more big names games on the way this year, but the DS familys library is simply much larger.
It really comes down to what you want in a handheld system. Being that the Go! is still a current generation PSP with a on board flashdrive and no UMD, and the DSi is a slight redesign of the DS, I don't think the trends will change much. If your looking for a fully functional media device that can be used for internet, movies, music, texting and chatting as well as playing hi fidelity games (by portable standards) you'll probably drift toward the PSP. If your interested in a portable game player with a huge library of diverse handheld type games, you'll most likely find what your looking for with the DSi.

Civilization and AoE are TBS, not SRPG. KitK is not out yet, could be very average. FFTA2 is nowhere, nowhere as good as FFTWotL.lol Instead of listing most great PSP titles, you guys should've just told that guy to shut it to the f to the u, with the respectively n00b ending... would've been faster :P

FFTA2 is nowhere, nowhere as good as FFTWotL.you are right about Civilization and AoE, but after playing FFTA2 and FFTWotL i feel FFTA2 had bring a newer element, story and expand on the first FFTA university and story, and FFTWotL just a remade.
And i think if you have DS you should need to check out KitK.
War of the Lions being better than Tactics A2 is only opinion. forgot_itYes, we all know that.
The only thing that WOTL has over TA2 is a deeper story, everything else is all opinion.forgot_it"Only"? In a SRPG, that's vital. There's also the graphics, the sound, and the nice cutscenes.

Speaking RPG wise though, the DS has a much a better library than the PSP.forgot_itIts not just my opinion. Seems to be held by most who played both. And FFT has more than just story over FFTA.
I don't have any links on me, but it's one of the most pirated consoles. I don't know a single person without a modded PSP. LittleHands134
Well, nice to meet you :D
I guess I'm the only honest person you'll ever get to know, right??
[QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"][QUOTE="LittleHands134"]It's going to be pretty worthless. Most people don't even buy 3rd edition PSPs because you can't mod those. Let's face it, that's one of the only reasons most people will buy a PSP, since you can't play any PSX, Dreamcast, etc, game without it.LittleHands134Link? I don't have any links on me, but it's one of the most pirated consoles. I don't know a single person without a modded PSP. Take the DS for example, I was walking through the park yesterday and I was seeing single mothers playing their DS with a flashcart in it. Pretty much everyone there with a DS had a flashcart.
Hilarious story, bro.
Why on earth would you get rid of it?LittleHands134Not everybody enjoys having ilegal practices on their consoles. Add to your list of known honest people.
