ratchet and clank and gurumin just came out what did ds come out with lunar knights lol.supersaiyan039
Wow, that must convince everyone that the PSP is getting better than the Nintendo DS. Nice job! I'm just going to stop playing my DS right now and go to the store and get a PSP with Ratchet and Clank and Gurumin.
Sorry to break it to ya but the PSP will never be better than the DSL. whitetiger3521
DSL? You mean "DS Lite" right? DSLite is still a DS, but smaller. Calling it DSL is a bit confusing so lets just stick with "DS" when reffering to the DS and/or DS lite. Â
Many of the PSP's good games have better versions available on the PS2 and it didn't really bring anything new to the table other than graphics. It has a shorter battery life and longer load times so it's no surprise to me the DS is killing the PSP in sales. DS in the last few months had Lunar Knights, Hotel Dusk, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Final Fantasy 3, Elite Beat Angels and Yoshi's Island.
Pokemon Diamond is out in April. That's the end really. I can't see PSP competing unless they announce GTA:SA stories or something but really...nothing competes with the main Pokemon series on a handheld.the-very-bestJapan will eat Pokemon up and spit it out all the way to America and then the world will Implode because it'll pwn everything on a handheld!
I think Sony got handhelds wrong with the PSP. They're trying to give you a portable console experience and that's just not what consumers seem to want. I know I sure don't. I want a much more casual gaming experience with my handheld. The game I'm playing most right now on my DSL is "Clubhouse Games", the little dart throwing game to be exact. Sony just got it wrong in my opinion.Bleach_is_basic
I would agree with that and add that Sony built swizz army knife when what they needed was a samurai sword.

The future looks bad for the PSP...in comparison to the NDS, i have to admit. Once Pokemon comes out, i can't see how PSP can compete. While it was a really good try by Sony, (best competition since Sega Neo Geo days), better luck next time.Pokemon Diamond is out in April. That's the end really. Stop joking. Ratchet and Clank Size Matters has already come out and nothing can stand up with it on the DS.. considering Silent Hill Origins, FF Crisis Core and GT 4 mobile, its really the end
Psp is better because it can be hacked and used for many things.... DS can't cause it don't have that much memory use on...GatoFeoI'm sure the fact that you're shamelessly using the games developers made without paying a penny, is going to result in 3rd parties flocking to the PSP... BTW, Pokemon will be the end, sorry, it would take a miracle for the PSP to stand up to that. Not Ratchet and Clank.

That is true. "Hacking defines what the psp can do. Sony limits what the psp can do." And really, DS fails without doubt when compared to a full hacked psp. Still, without hacking the psp is winning. And why?, because considering almost every aspect, PSP is winning (except sales but remember that sales do not indicate which system is superior)
Maybe not superior in terms of power, yet sales determine which system is better -.- Cows would not be able to claim that ps2 was god like if it did not sell like hotcakes. Same with Snes and Nes. Sales determine winners, get over it -.-

Actually, sales is exactly what indicates which system is superior. The goal of any company that produces a product is to meet the needs of the consumer which it is trying to reach. Consumers "vote" on which product is better meeting their needs with their money. I'm sure that Microsoft could come out with a handheld that cost $1000 dollars per unit and it would be AWESOME. It would still fail against the DS though because it would not be giving consumers what they are asking for in a handheld. This is the same situation that the PSP is in against the DS.I just got Hotel Dusk and EBA..... 2 amazing games. I already own Ratchet for my PS2..... -_-Actually the number of top rated games is approximately equal on both systems. DS may have more original content though, but is geared towards a younger audience in my opinion
The DS's game library is so much more superior than the PSP's its not even funny.... Im not just talking about AAA's but original titles that are unique and interesting. The DS owns the PSP in the game devision.
