And it has for a year now. And unlike the DS, you don't need to buy an expansion in order to use the internet, its available from the getgo.

And I don't understand how movies and music are a waste?  I watch movies and shows and listen to music and podcasts all the time on my PSP. 

I shutter to think of a DS lite web broswer.....the OS is garbage compared to the PSP

 

I travel....a lot.

 

 

I go from GR, Michigan to San Diego, California - Train is the mode I use constantly

For me the PSP has these features that a DS does not.

 

Movies - Because I need something to keep me occupied when the scenery gets bland OR when night falls.

Games - The PSP has games that take more time to complete. GTA being a great example....but MGS, Rachet, Daxter, and many more being a few to boot.

Web Browser - Surfing the web is always a great way to kill time.

Pics - I take lots of photos and often its nice to enjoy photos of the trip I had on the way back or vice versa with home.

Music - I dont need an ipod because I can listen to music on PSP with my Sony Headsets.

Emulation - I can emulate PSone games on my PSP that I downloaded from PS3. There is nuttin better than playing some Crash Bandicoot 1 or Medieval. 

Multimedia - The PSP is a GREAT multimedia beast!! Too many to list but suffice to say it's really awesome!

DS lite - Plays games. As of this moment RIGHT NOW...plays games. Nothing else. Picto-chat is worthless. WiFi for it goes a whopping 30 feet. DS isnt the optimal handheld for trips or on the go. Great for random here and there with a few titles that last a couple hours like pokemon or FF3.

And don't use sales because it's meaningless, any Nintendo franchises because they are gay or the touch pad because it is a "waist"

Uhm, there are PSP games that allow for infrastructure online play via wireless. With the latest update, the web browser has been enhanced to conserve system cache allowing for access to more webpages. Opera for the Nintendo DS sucks. Had a chance to mess with an import U.K. version and it was slower than 56K...

And there are plenty of games worth playing. Don't give me that easy to get in and out of BS. You flip the switch on the PSP and it has a sleep mode too, so I can resume play on anything easily. Tekken : DR is absolutely, hands down, the best looking handheld game ever, not to mention it's an AAA game at various websites, has online scoreboards, and lots of different game modes. And sports games on the DS suck. With the PSP I can take Madden, NBA Live, Fight Night, MLB The Show with me and it's pretty damn close to the PS2 or other console experience.

It's all about game preferrence. 

PSP has games that cater more to me so I play it more, I play my DSL when a game comes out on it that appeals to me.
