PSP vs DS: which one is better? (poll)

DSL is my choice because it has great games, fast loading times if not any at all, bright screen, great battery life, and it's affordable.

Now if the rumored PSP Slim comes out which is supposed to have faster loading times and a longer battery life my views may change but for now it's the DSL!

Oh, and the battery life can be fixed on the PSP w/ new batteries and such. So really...all the DS has against the PSP is a touchscreen. Neat!

The PSP is so much more powerful than any other portable gaming device, including the DS:

Plus it has a bigger screen and much better graphics

Plus, it has more AA-AAA combined titles according to many review sites including gamespot and gamerankings. Also it can play music, videos, pictures, run internet, download/stream RSS, play Flash Games, and even watch live TV if you get the location free player. Load times aren't that bad, only 5-15 seconds for most games, and the battery life is plenty. And it's only $170. I think it's clear as to which handheld is better. "but...but...teh portz and spinoffz!" The DS has those also - plenty of N64/SNES/GC/GBA ports

Both are owned by Mobile.

Mobile has 14 AAAs, and PSP and DS both have like 6.

Are you telling the PSP is better because it's fatter? And how is 5-15 seconds not a lot? The DS can do it in 1-3 seconds. I'd explode if it went 5 seconds, and whyin the world did you mention 15 seconds? Were you hoping for self-ownage? And don'ttell me 5 hours battery life is "plenty".

And no, DS barely has any ports. There's a difference between a rehash, port and sequel.

PSP is much more powerful but all the good ideas for games have been done on the PS2.

The DS on the other hand has touch screen and stuff but more importantly it has better games.
