It's not in English. :(
Edit - Nevermind, the video explains it all nicely. It's a pretty awesome feature, I wonder how many PS3 games will be supported.
I don't know, remote play can be accessed anywhere in the world through an internet connection. But you'd still have to be pretty close to your PS3 right ?>R4gn4r0k
I doubt it, it probably works at good ranges. If it uses the bluetooth and wi fi, you can use it anywhere in your house (unless you live in a mansion)But you'd still have to be pretty close to your PS3 right ? So what's the point besides not having to pause your game when going to the john ?

Why play there when you can play on your t.v? ShuichiChamp24Wasn't this one of the features which nintendo was very happy about in the last e3 you can play Wii u on the small screen if others are using the TV yet no one complained back then but when Sony did it now it's useless.

Did what I write sound like a complain? No, it was a question and I never said it was useless thanks for jumping to conclusions again.
Isn't this also in a controlled environment? Also, the farther away you get the more it would lag from my understanding. You also bring up a good point with the battery. No lag is good.
Why I'd want to play anything other than the HDTV in my room is a different matter entirely. Not to mention this would require an active signal, and would drain the Vita's already pathetic battery even faster.

Well I wasn't talking about you exactly but about all who are not sure if this feature will be good or no i'm saying it's just another extra feature which some people might use if they needed it and anyway this sws you should always jump to conclusions :D.

The battery would be the least of your issues... considering you're going to use this inside the house.
I can't seem to think of a situation where this kind of a feature would be useful.

But inside the house nailed to an outlet. What if none of my couches are near an outlet? :P
And agreed, there really is no practical use for this feature as of yet. Other than to say "we can also do this!"

Edit:Also, since most people play their portables inside their houses anyway, this would make PS3-portable-esque.
An example would be, yourPS3 is hooked up in your living room andyou're in your bedroom (without a TV). InstantPS3 portable?
Nintendo's games have a more main stream appeal then Sony's. Their names are much bigger. That is why their systems sell. When are cows going to accept this like any logical thinking gamer?
WAIT I see what your doing. "Our excuses to use against the 3DS backfired so now we are attacking Wii U".
Can you remind I don't remember when Sony first console sold more than 3x times nintendo console and it's second system outsold nintendo other system by more than 130 mil lolNintendo's games have a more main stream appeal then Sony's. Every generation is a blank slate.
Put it this way: Nintendo could have dropped out at any given time. Yet they are still here. Why is that? Oh yeah, Mario.

Dude this feature was available on psp with games like blaze blue and some other downloadable games stop trying to make it as if Sony does nothing but copying nintendoCorrection: Handhelds.Put it this way: Nintendo could have dropped out at any given time. Did I mention Nintendo? :? I don't see any mention of Nintendo in my earlier posts... where on Earth are you coming up with these things?
I can't criticize a feature without being labeled a fanboy? System Wars never ceases to amaze me...
Correction: Handhelds.shinrabanshou
No its pretty much because they own Mario and Pokemon. In Pokemon's case you could say handhelds. But meh, neither system is dead on arrival until further notice.
Fanboys can insult people but they can never change interests :P

What does we can also do this mean then?PlayStation Vita: We can do *insert list of extraneous features that are not playing video games* and now improved Remote Play.
If the back touchpad is used for L2 and R2, what replaced L3 and R3? I'm pretty sure the sticks on Vita aren't clickable.
burgeg
they could set the back touchpad to have 4 buttons if needed.
My guess would be yes? Or is it one of those things where it would be up to the developer? Where you able to remote play any game on the psp? That's actually really neat. I hope we can play a lot of games like that.

ShuichiChamp24
From the wiki page, most remote plays are listed as PSN games.
Um, Wii U isn't DoA because of that. The Vita is a separate system with linkable capabilities. The Wii U tablet is a controller for the Wii U console itself.
EDIT: Oh. ...:|

That's becasue the PSP only has one analog stick.

That would make sense, I don't think many demanding games where there. Now if the psp could not do it because of the strain of the game the vita would fix that. If it's up to the developers I don't think many games will use it since you would also need the vita.my thread title change is working

Meh neither are going to fail until there is more proof of it. Even if Wii U and Vita have their own lights of death that doesn't indicate they will fail because people will just buy them back.
I don't know, remote play can be accessed anywhere in the world through an internet connection. But if you turn wifi on the vita on it will only last about an hour. Sure you could plug it in but what is the point. You might as well just use the ps3 controller. If it was not for my psp messing up I would not be getting the vita around launch, and probably just wait a year. But hopefully it has better games for the american launch because none of the launch titles are doing it for me (still have not played uncharted).[QUOTE="R4gn4r0k"]

Why play there when you can play on your t.v? ShuichiChamp24ask ninty why thats their main focus...
Still need a PS3 + PSV... $$$MonsieurXthis late int he game most people who really want a PS3 and are interested in its features already have one, which leave only the part about buying a vita. not a bad deal at all to me. true though, would be quite an investment to splurge on all at once. Vita+PS3+KZ3 = $$$
This is one of the most exciting prospects of the Vita to me.
I'm a college student without a PS3, but there are many titles on the system that I really want to play. With this, I could essentially mooch off of my hallmate's PS3. After I finish my game of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, I can turn on their PS3, go back to my room, and enjoy a nice follow-up game of Uncharted 3 without disturbing my hallmate or ever needing to purchase the PS3 hardware or software. :D
