Did this spot with the @PlayStation team. We had a lot of fun. Their new VR2 really is amazing pic.twitter.com/wr79vIy15C

Ohhh snap! Who’s picking this up Feb 22? ME!
Love that they got it down to a single cable from the headset, and no base stations.
I love love love my Valve Index, but there's so many plugs to plug in. One per each of the two base stations to power sources, then like three plugs for the headset itself.
I'm curious how the tracking compares to setups that use base stations.
Looks like they cut costs on the headset structure itself (specifically that stretchy headband) and the audio. Whether or not it should get dinged for that, I guess we will wait and see.
This video presentation was so weird.
Honestly reminded me of those vibrator reviews on youtube.

lol yea
Sony, this big ass billion dollar company, and it's like some royalty free music shit filmed in her kitchen.
@SolidGame_basic: I heard they cut deliveries of this by 50% because of low interest.
Well then, you heard fake news.

@hardwenzen: The hell you watching on youtube?
Listen, they keep popping up in my feed, i just click on them cuz they're there, and wonder why more show up.

??? I would even post you my fav review, but this might be too much for SW. Nothing's more exciting than to watch a review for a brand new game that you're interested in, followed closely by a brand new vibrator release. If you're interested in Atomic Heart, i would highly suggest you to give it a try, and do what i've been doing for the last few years.😊

Hold up, my man. Thought we were talking dildos solely.
So hyped! 2 more weeks!
Actually pretty excited myself. I just wish it had that PC support.
Do like how comfy the headset looks.
Rift S need third party addon, really shitty padding.
Only thing I'm worried about on that front is the tightness of the band. The old PSVR squeezed my head like a wine press.
Looking good indeed....
good video 👍

Not even, 12 more days!!

there was a thread about it here, source from bloomberg, and it sounded legit. Are you sure this isn't sony damage controlling a flop?

Same author claimed that new more powerful Switch is coming and 4k Switch games too year and a half ago. We all know how it ended. Same author claimed that Sony cut PS5 production before launch because bad yields. We know how it ended. Reached 10 million around month and a half before PS4 in same time frame. That guy have some bad sources regarding hardware specifically
Looking good! It's almost here, just 12 more days!
Pretty big difference. LOL
550 bucks... You could get a killer hiking bag, boots, gear and hammock tent for some real life adventures... The Meta life! Reality! VR just doesn't compare.

PSVR3 should be wireless?
I mean, that should ultimately be the goal, right?
I know the tech exists that allows us to do so, but it currently requires a backpack set up that is powerful enough to send and receive the large volumes of data, and there is latency from it as well.
I'm curious what the PSVR2 sacrificed in order to get it down to one single cable. Would be very surprised if they didn't lose some benefit.
I don't think we are currently in "VR version 2.0" yet. Improvements like Valve Index and PSVR2 are more like....VR version 1.8; a lot better, but not a big enough of a jump to warrant being labeled the next iteration. I think we are close, though!
I wish they offered it in black.
I know, petty...but white is just god awful. Makes it look like some Apple POS, like it's trying to be all friendly and approachable. I want my hardware badass and black 😋

Based on that, is it worth more than platform(PS5) itself?

Depends if you like VR or not, and how receptive you are of it.
If you're like me, you think it's incredible and among one of the larger jumps in gaming evolution since we went from 2D to 3D graphics (not, not saying it's that big of a jump, but it's pretty significant). Then yes it's probably worth it to you.
However if you think it's a gimmick or a fad, then no, probably not worth it.
Allow me to tell you that the stuff holding the actual items you’re interested in are environmentally safe. Lol.
I got an email from Sony confirming my order payment!
same here, excited to try it out when it arrives
Hopefully we get it on launch day!
Info on Horizon Call of the Mountain!

@girlusocrazy: I hope they make a similar PSVR2 update to RE7. I'm holding off on playing it on the original PSVR in hopes of future PSVR2 support (and because I'm too scared).
@SolidGame_basic: ign gives everyone and everything a 9/10 as long as they get that sponsorship money.

Does that include MS games and peripherals?
The first PSVR was a disappointment for me. I bought a PS4 Pro and a PSVR but ended up getting rid of the Kit pretty quickly.
This one looks very interesting. Might be tempted to get one eventually. Shame it isn't also compatible with PC.
I would love to know why Xbox doesn't want to support VR. It could be just some very basic support, like allowing you to connect 3rd party hardware.
Unless it gets something fantastic like AstroBot: Rescue Mission was for PS4, then no, I am not interested. I’m definitely not interested in it if a snooze-fest series like Horizon is the best game on the platform.
