No one has mentioned it. They say Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition isnt exslusive because it was on the Gamecube and PS2 and they say MBL2009 isnt exclusive to PS3 because it was on the PS2 and PSP and Punch-Out!! was on the NES (uhh i think) and the SNES so is it exclusive or not?

Who knows. System wars has the most un-consitent ways of determining exclusive. They say GRAW is exclusive to 360, but Tiger Woods 10 is multiplatform when its completely different. GRAW is still a shooter in all versions.

So? does that mean halo 3 isnt exclusive because its a shooter? GRAW is a different game on the different platforms, being a shooter means nothing.

Its a sequel. Blimey, I dont know why this is disputed. There is more than enough new content to warrent it being above a remake. Hell, if we look at most sequels to popular franchises, they would have a similar amount of updates - so why arent they remakes? Punch-Out!! Wii, funnily enough, is Wii exclusive. Not "Nintendo Family" exclusive, or whatever rubbish.

It depends on how different the original is from the remake. RE4, is the same basic game across all platforms. As is MLB09 and Punch Out!! In the case of a game like the REmake or Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, where there has been a significant amount of change (REmake shares the same story as the original, but has completely reworked everything around it, and Twin Snakes has redone cinematics, added MGS2 gameplay elements, etc.) they can be considered "exclusive" because the experience is not available on other platforms.

There is no such thing as a "company exclusive." An "exclusive" is a game on a single platform that has a unique experience that isn't available anywhere else, in almost any way, shape or form.

Uh Punchout for the Wii is a sequel, not a remake of the first one, so it is a Wii exclusive.

Resident Evil 4 isn't exclusive because it is the exact same game, but Punch Out!! is a sequel, not the same game, so it is exclusive.

no because Punchout on wii is a different game

just like Sonic THe HEdgehog on 360/PS3 while sharing the name with the original game on Geneesis they are not the same game at alll.

If the Wii game is a remake of the NES game, then were is Mike? Why are there characters that arent in the NES game? Why stuff isnt just the same but better?

Or are you saying Halo 3 isnt exclusive bacause its a remake of a XBOX game, the same with Killzone 2 or ARMA 2 or whatever other sequel?

TC, you don't have a clue of what your talking about, Punch Out Wii is totally different from Punch Out NES, doesn't matter if they share the same name.
