If you want to base it on visuals, go with the super-amazingly-eyeorgasmic FNR4

I'm not very familiar with the Fight Night games, but aren't they incredible different then Punchout? I'd almost say that Punchout is to boxing what Trauma Center is to medical practice.

Punchout isn't so much about boxing as it is memorizing the enemy's patterns and responding accordingly. FN has more strategy and more attack options and such

You....just said you have never played it. Memorization and reflex is not strategy. Anticipating what your opponent is going to do, then moving to put him into a position where you can counter him and win is strategy.

This is like asking if Burnout is better than GT or Forza. Both have cars so they must be comparable right?

...or if NBA Ballers is better than NBA Live or if NFL Street is better than Madden. You get the point?

Punch Out do KO with every boxing game out there that include Fight night. Just because Fight night go more for the realistic look do not make it better and more fun.

I wish most of their new installments were as fun as their older ones.

Me too, and I doubt there will ever be a better boxing game than Mike Tyson's Punchout. And when I said better I am referring to the funfactor. Nothing will ever come close. Although, I look forward to FNR4 just so I can be Tyson.

Ok ok. I must say that I really do love to play punchout and super punchout. The problem is I can beat atleast super punchout everytime first time even if I hadnt played it in awhile. I had memorized all the moves and the types of moves each person does and how to dodge or block accordingly to each fighter. Except for the fact I never found out a way to stop the damage nick bruiser does since when you block it it still hurts you. Anyways, thats the problem. As much as I love punchout I must say I enjoy the FN game much more since there is a lot more that has to be done to beat a person. Plus im not talking about playing the game on easy and then just annihilate the other opponent. Im talking about on the hardest setting. I enjoy more of a challenge. Which is why I love playing the UFC demo.
